Maybe KG needs a change of scenery (and unis - perhaps to pinstrip PJ's) to help rid himself of his terrible memories??

    DoD,

Yes, but I did mention him in Rockets pinstripes. Does that count? [IMG]

Trade anyone on the team for him except francis.

I know it has next to zero chance of happening (never say never), but can you imagine a lineup of Cato, Taylor, Garnett, Anderson and Franis?

That lineup, plus the bench, could be the start of a dynasty.

(damnit, it ain't gonna happen, so stop dreamcasting before you go insane [IMG]. Now I'm talking to myself)

Sorry, but even Francis isn't untouchable if we a had an ice cube's chance in hell of getting Kevin Garnett. We could pick up a good point guard quick. KG is a one-off.

Don't anybody ever suggest again that we sign Tracy Murray to a deal.

Garnett is that guy from Hellraiser?

I'm not touching Lemarchand's box for anyone.

I don't think I'd trade Steve for anyone, not after what I saw him do last season as a rookie (plus hearing about how he's tearing up the summer leagues). I know that sounds stupid (and may very well be), but I REALLY WANT TO KEEP THIS GUY FOR GOOD. Build the team around him.

(KG would be a really nice addition, tho [IMG] )

As for any other roster spots, those would ALL be up for grabs - well, leave us enough to field at least one team...

    Crisco,

That was a little over my head, but I'm sure it funny to you! Explain.

oh, I just had a funny mental picture of Garnett as Pinhead from Hellraiser inspired by the title of this thread. [IMG]

Lemarchnard's box is the funky puzzle box.

The NBA doesn't want that sort of team to be assembled. They want you to save the dreamteams for the Olympics, where they're free.

If there was really a way to legally (financially) build a dreamteam in the NBA system, don't you think someone would've found it by now?

That would be a gold mine that never went away (because the top FA's would inevitably line up to make the team). It would be a pain in the arse for someone... Everyone who wasn't involved with the gold mine (every other team in the NBA). The owners - who happen to pay the salaries of the players and staff - would not stand for that.

Would you pay for a team that you knew was going to lose? Lose big, every time? Of course not...

What kind of a league would it be if 29 teams had the same chance of winning as the '99 Bulls, and only one team was unstoppable? It would be crooked, and it would suck for us viewers...

Commerce abhors monopoly. That is a Law. That is why talent spreads itself among teams...

I'd easily do WW, re-signed Mo Taylor, Shandon Anderson and even some garbage for Garnett....that's three starters for them....
Doesn't matter, cause if we have any of our 2 shooting guards, Francis, and Garnett then the other 2 won't even matter....

Take out Shandon, gimme 2 scrubs, and you're in...

Don't touch Steve, Cat, or Shandon unless the deal is really good. REALLY good.

Personally, I think Shandon's way undervalued...

Anderson's undervalue is due to his lack of HYPE if you know what I mean but any true basketball fan and specially rockets fan would appreciate him .

Yeah, he doesn't appear to advertise that much. Just one more thing I like about him - he's a quiet ba*tard who wants to make his message clear on the floor, not with his mouth.

I hate inflated egos. One more reason I think he's undervalued...
