No link just saw it on ESPN -- looks like he tweaked it pretty good. They say he will miss the Celtic's west coast road trip.
Here is an article on it... ___ Garnett hops off court with knee strain SALT LAKE CITY -- Boston forward Kevin Garnett was headed back to Boston after straining his right knee in the Celtics' 90-85 loss to Utah on Thursday night. ESPN The Magazine's Stephen A. Smith reported that Garnett would return to Boston on Friday to undergo an MRI exam. The Celtics' road trip continues with a game against the Suns in Phoenix on Sunday. Garnett injured his right leg while going up for an alley-oop late in the first half. He landed gingerly and motioned immediately to the bench for a substitute, then hopped on his good foot toward the locker room. The Celtics said he strained his right knee. He warmed up with his teammates before the second half, but did not return to action. Garnett released a statement after the game, saying he would have the knee re-examined on Friday. "We should have more information at that time. Obviously, I would much rather be playing instead of giving this statement," Garnett said. link
dang, i mean it's not unusual to have injuries every season but it seems like this season every major player has gone down for some time this season...chris paul, deron williams, carlos boozer, manu ginobilli, tim duncan, tony parker, andrew bynum, carmelo anthony, amaré stoudemire, josh smith, al horford, danny granger, zydrunas ilgauskas, etc. makes you really appreciate those players who are able to avoid/fight through them.
Andrew Bynum is a major player? As far as Garnett, it's probably payback for acting like a punk since going to the Celtics.
Sorry KG but T-mac has that and every other MRI in the country booked up through April in his quest for a 32nd opinion.
Celts are dead without KG. If he hadn't acted like such a jerk earlier in the season, I might be sad.
Shouldn't KG see half a dozen doctors? Taking the opinion of one or two of the world's best doctors is so 90s.
they might be dead without KG in the playoffs, but in the regular season they're 12-3 wihout him which is 75% winning, not bad.
that was mainly last season.. they would be lucky to win half of their coming up games if kg is to miss 2 weeks or more. their frontline is real bad.
