I am tired of all these commentators that know nothing about the man. I am surprised they continue to thing Garcia is not a great defender and that they ONLY know about this when he guard Durant. Garcia WAS A GREAT DEFENDER while in Sactown what are you talking about!!
Oh well. In the Clips broadcast, first half, the broadcasters referred to Aaron Brooks as Aaron Rodgers and did not correct themselves. Wish I could remember what moment. It was somewhere during or after they started melting down due to Blake Griffin's tangle-up with Brooks. Announcers gonna make mistakes.
Umm few months ago we were all shocked to see his defense on DURANT.. None of us knew he was a quality defender and such a good set shooter Not many ppl paid attention to a career 7ppg player stuck in Sacramento for 8 yrs
They commentators also loved to mention how Jeremy got destroyed by Lillard whenever they met last year. Ridiculous commentators just looking for material to make the Portland fans feel pat themselves on the back despite their team's poor play tonight.
I actually liked Portland's commentators, they gave us a lot of credits. Clipper's announcers were total douche tho
Unfortunately no one knew much about Garcia while he was in Sac. But Sac fans will tell you he was a good defender and great at blocking shots.
If you're not black, you're assumed to be a bad defender and a great shooter. Announcers don't have the time to look at the stats and find out otherwise.
His Effort, Tenacity, & Production with the Rox last year won me over. If he can continue to play well on both sides of the court this season, the Rockets will have another Edge with their Inside/Out game especially in the Playoffs. They may not have to miss Del3ino after all
