Does anyone know a good repairman or business that repairs garage doors? The spring attached to the cables/pulleys broke and damaged one of the pulleys with it. Me being the natural "handy man" would attempt to repair this myself, but the 5 warning labels around the garage door advised me to leave it alone and hire a professional.
mine broke and i actually fixed it myself. I went out to home depot and bought a whole new kit and installed the entire thing. It took me all day, but it worked in the end. And i'm not much of a handyman. Check the yellow pages for garage door repair in your area there should be plenty of ads.
If it's something I can repair myself...you bet I'll attempt to fix it I'll stop by home depot later today and see If I can find the necessary parts. Thanks for the heads up.
