[Games] SimCity 2013

Nice! SimCity was the first video game I played with any regularity.

 

I hope my computer can handle it.
SimCity is amazing. No other city builder comes close.

 

I've always loved this game. This and mario kart.

 

Should be awesome. I played Sim City 2000, skipped 3000, but Sim City 4 was probably one of my favorite games of all-time if not my favorite. I'm a perfectionist, and I never really had enough time to build those regions that I saw on simtropolis that were super-realistic, and that's the one thing that I wish I could eventually do.

I have high hopes for this after the disaster that was sim city societies. That was such a trash follow up game after what was the best game in sim city 4 and the rush hour add on.

 

I was playing Sim City 2000 up through at least 2006. That is over a decade worth of game play. Probably my favorite PC game ever (I don't play that many).

 

I try to get every SimCity game, but I swear I get bored with them after about a week. Hopefully that won't happen this time. Seems like a 1-2 year wait so I have time to build up anticipation. Lol

 

You use cheat codes don't you? :grin:
I've spent years playing Sim City 4. Then I played the foreign Cities XL 2011 and 2012 (Absolutely HORRIBLE GAMES! They literally change the title of the game and sell it yearly! No new content!)

Can't wait for this!

 

I don't know if I can go back to Simcity after playing some truly great 4x games like Civ4 and HOMM3. It's kind of a 2.5x game at best; it would be awesome if they offered a war feature.

I'm a huge fan of Sim City. I was in drafting class in high school in the mid-90s and I installed Sim City 2000 on my CAD machine... I played that game for 3 years straight in class.

 

I was hooked on simcity and rollercoaster tycoon.

 

March is a long time away.

 

Video won't load for me for some reason.

 

I want this, but theres a few things I'm worried about. You can't play offline (dumbest decision ever), your city is capped pretty small for size, and a couple other things i cant remember off the top of my head.

 

Wow just checked some beta footage. The cities are SMALL.... What a disappointment...
