That Red Dead Revolver looked pretty good. Old Western, GTA style. Other than that I'm mainly a COD, NBA 2k, UFC, and Madden fan.

God of War III by far is my most anticipated 2010 game. I'm also intrigued by Heavy Rain. However, I'll probably be playing older games for a while. I'm almost done with the Demon's Souls platinum. After that it's Fallout 3 GOTY, Okami, and probably Valkryia Chronicles. Damn you RC and Drexler for getting me hooked on RPG's again...
Definitely getting: GOW3, FF13, Heavy Rain. Maybe getting: Bayonetta, Bad Company 2, GT5, etc. Definitely not Getting: Army of Two 40th Day, sports games.
It's by the studio that made Indigo Prophecy. Apparently the plot is a lot better around this time. This is the "art" game of the year. Gameplay will revolve around very mundane things and conversations. Each of the 4 major characters can die throughout the game, which makes thousands of branching plots. I feel like I need to play this game, kind of like going to the top art museum when visiting cities in Europe. Hopefully it'll make a me more well-rounded person.
Saw the Heavy Rain trailer. Graphics looking really good but too similar to GTA, Silent Hill and many other games out there. But I'll buy it just to play that female character.
This game will play nothing like GTA or Silent Hill. This is will be one of the truly unique games that comes out kinda like Okami.
Actually it does in some way. It's taking from alot of well known games out there and put into this game. From look to playing style. From the look of it so far. I don't know if it's going to be an enjoyable gameplay. Seems too much cinematic cut scenes than you're playing it.

Heavy Rain is basically a modern adventure game. Don't know why you would bother to compare it to Silent Hill or GTA when there are much better examples out there (including Indigio Prophecy of course). Maybe not too many people these days play adventure games. Indeed, Heavy Rain's gameplay won't have fast-paced action scenes where you try to get as many headshots as possible. Instead, it will probably be full of complex dialogue sequences and puzzles that need to be solved in order to advance. They've put in a bit more action than the genre used to have (like using QTEs, as the trailers show), but it is an adventure game at its core...or at least that's the impression I get. So with that all said, Heavy Rain is definitely one of the games I'm looking forward to in 2010 (in fact, I was more or less sold via its tech demo 3-4 years ago). Along with that, there is also FFXIII, GOW3, and Mass Effect 2 that I'm looking forward to. Probably others too, but I can't really think much beyond Q1 2010. I would love to see The Last Guardian in 2010 though. Maybe some more RPG love from Atlus. edit: I'll probably be on board for another Resistance in late 2010 (going by Insomniac's schedule), although R2 was disappointing IMO. Might be better if Insomniac took a bit more time with this one.
Heavy Rain reminds me of The Beast Within: A Gabriele Knight Mystery. One of the best games I have ever played.
Mass Effect 2 is nice, but for me the American release of Pokemon Heartgold is the OMG GET game immeadiately. Gold version was the absolute version of Pokemon out there, and a remake for the DS should be awesome. Those two, and the new Ace Attorney game for the DS are sufficient for me.
Lots of great games, I'm looking forward to... Mass effect 2 Heavy Rain GT5 GOW3 Madden 11 NBA 2K11 debating Alan wake, halo reach, and splinter cell conviction.
