Just in case anyone wanted to discuss any of the games they were watching. There was just a fight in the pistons game with charlie villanueva and juwan howard. Not that big but there was a lot of shoving. Villanueva fouled a portland player and then juwan howard came over and pushed him.

Villanueva must have gotten physical by accident.

You can say the same for Howard.

When it comes to sending messages with hard fouls and standing up for teammates while on the floor, JH ranks up there. That contrasts with his normally soft style of playing basketball.

Signing Villanueva was a dumb move by Joe Dumars.

What happened at the end of the Bobcats game that got Gerald Wallace worked up?

Yeah, I don't think Joe Dumars is cutting the mustard in Detroit anymore.

howard's always done that though. He's pretty good about standing up for his teammates.

I remember Charlie V hit Varejao pretty hard. I was proud of CV. CV isn't that good of a player, and it wasn't a good signing for the Pistons. He would have been better suited being a 6th man on a team like the Cavs.

So are the Nets just completely rewriting the definition of tanking? Down 31 by the end of the 3rd is just sad.

I knew it involved Juwan Howard when I read the thread title. I'm not a fan of acting tough on the court by getting into shoving matches.

Juwan stood up for his rockets teammates plenty of times too. I remember he got in to it with Mike James and shoved the ball in his face.

Shoving constitutes as fighting nowadays. I miss the times when punches would actually be thrown.
