WORLD SERIES BABY! Astros in 6 I think I just may ask for that day off from work. *hopes dave doesn't see this...hell, even if he doesn't, he'll know that's why I'd be taking the day off. LOL
The Stros must win one of the two games in Chicago this weekend. My gut is telling me that they will win game 1 because they will still be on such an adrenaline high from last night. Astros - 6 White Sox - 2
First game, Roger stuns the Chicago winds and leaves them hitless... ! Astros 5 - Sux 0 Astros in 5 (win it here, baby!) GO ASTROS!
Holy cow we're talking about the Astros in the World Series!!! I am still not over it; I'm still pounding exclamation points like a 13-year old "gamer" on the web!!! Lemme see if I can do this right--Did U C that 1st inning K by Roy? Yous got PWNED pooholz!!!!11!!1 Astros in 4. Astros get 4 complete games from their staff to eclipse what the other guys' staff has done and cement their place as one of the greatest starting rotations in baseball history. Jeff Bagwell launches one as a DH. Biggio gets a leadoff double and scores on a Bagwell double. HOW SWEEET IT IS!!!!!
Astros will sweep the series. Game 1 Astros 6 White Sox 2 Clemens pitches seven innings, gives up one run.
Astros in 6...I'm so tired of hearing John"FatAzz"Kruk and Harold picking the Sox...The Astros have experience and are ready to play...They have been counted out all year long, so here's our chance to prove we're #1... Go Stros!!!
Absolutely Max....and I'll have you all know, that my sig was in place before game one of the NLDS. oh yeah, thank you Jobu!
Stros in 6 games, though I have sneaking suspicion it may go 7. However, didn't Roger's mother predict that he would be on the mound for the series winning game? That would mean Houston in a mere 5 games! Everyone is picking the White Sox, and it looks good on paper that they beat the Angels in 5 games, but that was one rundown team. They did not have Colone, and they had traveled like 10,000 miles in the past few days. Not to mention the Jedi mind tricks that AJ Pierzynsky was playing on the umpires in that series. Chicago is a lot like St. Louis in that they have rarely faced adversity this season. The Astros have been against it time and time again and responded every time.
