After, the massive, massive letdown of Simcity 2013. Cities: Skylines is a hell of a true sequel to Simcity 4. I recommend this game to everyone who loves city builders but think that Cities XL series is crap and poorly optimized and Simcity 2013 was extremely limited and boring. And the best part is that its only $30! ($21 on Greenmangaming in their VIP section after you sign up for an account). <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0gI2N10QyRA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ek18zXwVfho" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I still play Sim City 4 from time to time. My region is a beast and I have so many mods from simtropolis on it.
My 5 year old MacBook Pro can't run this thing unfortunately. I'd need to get a new computer to play this.
There is a lot to do. Replay value is pretty high, higher than SimCity. Cities can get very very large. There is fluid simulation. Although it can get a bit buggy with how the dams work in this game. And mod support is amazing. Not to mention future updates and DLC should all be free.
If you sign up for GMG and look in their VIP section it'll be reduces to $21 worth of BTC. Should you choose to pay with Bitcoins.
I just bought this a few days ago after reading the reviews. Still haven't gotten to play it, though. Kind of sad this makes it out after Maxis dies, but oh well.
Yeah, I know it was a trainwreck, but it's kind of sad to see a company that made a game you've been playing since the late 80's go bye-bye.

Yup that's what i did.. Paying with btc is so easy.. no numbers and billing addresses to enter. No risk of that info being leaked to the net Even if you don't own the requisite amt of btc before the transaction, circle or coinbase have instant deposits you can make right before your purchase. It would still be faster and safer as always of course Open phone app, scan qr, press done, done.
There are rumors that Steam and Origin are starting to crack down on key-selling websites and removing games purchased from them from their respective libraries. So its not the safest bet to shop with key sellers.
