SAC just took them down by 1 pt. w00t! :D

If we win all week then the game against LA can tie us for 1st in the west!!!

EDIT: We would own the tiebreaker and be 1st if we beat them!!!!

I didn't say it WILL...I said it COULD. And also said that we have to win all week, implying we have to take care of business. back off man, nothing wrong with hoping for another undefeated week!

My older brother loves the Lakers and lives and die with them. I'm going to buy tickets on Monday. I want to murder them. I'm not concerned with their bench of Farmar (we have Jackson), Viaucci (whatever vs. Luther), Turiaff (Landry), Luke (Mike Harris/Novak).

    Bring them on.

That is not necessarily true. It depends. If San Antonio won all their games, they will be number 1, since we have one more loss than them.

I think it is realistic for us to beat the Lakers they are not that much better than us.......beyond Kobe, which is somewhat negated because of T-Mac/Battier.

Alot of the matchups are in favor the Rockets.

Right now, we have a better bench and better front line (Bynum hasn't came back yet). Also, if we lose by 12 +++ or 20 or something I can see the arguments being justified of them being an all round better team.

But this team is not perfected, they're defense is ok.....they've had some good wins, but have had some questionable losses....while the Rockets have only lost three times this entire year (2 months and 2 weeks). And losses were games that came down the wire.

THis team is really good, I don't expect them to win the west, but next year I will be expecting banner.

Monday first! We didn't get 18 in a row by looking to the big matchups! We stayed focused on every game!

Stay humble, stay hungry. That should be the Rockets new theme.

actually lets say that we beat all the team includin the lakers, we would not be first because we would have 46-20 while SA what 47-19, even if SA lose one game still they owned a better division record than us. so yea, only way is for spurs to lose to nuggets and hornets, but its hard to imagine spurs goes on a 4 game losing streak right?
