Interesting point from the LA Times -

"Game 4 is here Sunday afternoon, and now Game 5 on Wednesday night — a day Kobe Bryant will spend trying to return from a pretrial hearing in Eagle, Colo. — is in play, something they'd hoped to avoid."

Hmm, intrigue and drama in the air....
    This could prove interesting. ;)

We have to find a way to jack his ride up, lol.

You guys should find his limo and slash the tires.

I wouldn't count anything on that. Kobe seemed to play his
best in court date. He's done this twice this season.
Back from Eagle County, lead a Lakers come back and beat
the buzzer in one game, made 40 pts in another.

Yeah but these are the Houston Rockets baby.

I heard that he would almost definitely make it if the game were delayed half an hour - do you guys think the Rockets would protest this delay?

    I would protest this delay.
I wish the game were in Houston so it would cut him 2 hours.
I was wondering how the NBA was going to avoid this fiasco to save face.
This is the chance for the Rockets to take game 5.
We have to win at least one in LA to win out.

Move a basketball game that 15,000 people bought tickets to, and is going to be televised on national TV or move a court date that about 10 people have to show up to?

If he is innocent until proven guilty, then the court should adjust. Any attorneys around here? Why would this happen (not that I am complaining)?

My bad, I didn't realise that the order of the games have been changed in the playoffs.

Actually I read somewhere that if Memphis is swept by SA, the Rox-LA game on Wednesday might be moved UP an hour because SA-Memphis will no longer have to play.

That could be a huge advantage for the Rox. Somehow, I think the NBA would come up with something to avoid that though.

Kobe Rape Trail on same day as Game 5!

For all who did not know, Kobe has a trail on the same day as Game 5. It is expected that he will be 30 minutes late to the game. TNT reported last night that he may not play at all.

I would love to see the Rockets win this one in L.A. and come back home to play one more!
