Here's a couple of things I saw in game 3 that I thought were interesting. Kobe is never double teamed. If you think he is, then you are delusional and or don't know the difference between a double and help defense. There is no 3 second rule in regards to Shaquille O'Neal. If you watch him closely, you could call it on him every other time down the court. The Sixers had plenty of opportunities to take this game, but couldn't come through when it counted(McKie 3 from the corner, Iverson missed free throw) Shaq walks a fine line between using the rules to his advantage(being bigger than everybody) and abusing the rules. He ducks his shoulder into his man almost every time, which is not allowed since you can't knock the defender off of you if he's already set. The officiating was bad both ways. The Lakers got the calls in the beginning, and the Sixers got the calls late. It was good that they just let them play. Iverson choked again. The one play where he went to the hole and turned it over was probably the turning point in the game IMO. It baffles me how Kobe Bryant doesn't get doubled in key situations. He had single coverage when he hit his little floater at the end. I understand Brown has confidence in his bench players, but wake up. Make somebody else beat you. I hate Robert Horry ------------------ The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off
I agree with much of that, especially (as much as I hate to say this about a former Rocket) the part about hating Horry. ------------------
