Thursday night's Game 3 has been relegated to the ghetto of playoff programming: NBA TV. This game was clearly deemed less interesting than the Detroit-Orlando nailbiter that night. The question is: are they going to enforce NBA TV blackout rules even during the playoff schedule? It will suck having to watch the road game on standard def.
the more important question.. which local station fsn or ch 51 will be showing the game.. or will it be both?
Channel 51 shouldn't show any playoff games... if this was 10 years ago, at the height of the Rockets' popularity, you'd have to pay 20$ to watch the home games on PPV. I'm happy its on regular cable at all.
They are so stupid, picking Detroit/Magic over Utah vs Houston. What a joke. Probably ESPN's decision. They always favor east coast.
Face it, the Rockets are a boring team, the Jazz are boring. This is a boring series, no one in the mass market wants to watch this.
The j*zz are boring, but tmac and yao are damn exciting, the most popular players in the world. That Phoenix game the other night, was a high scoring very exciting game. The pistons are old and boring and tired, the rockets are new and exciting.
do they not have NBAtv in Oregon? its like $5 extra for the Sports Tier package with most cable companies the question is what feed will NBAtv air- Utah or Houston?
Actually, it's TNT's decision. There's a slate of three games on Thursday, and TNT gets to choose which two they want to put on the air.
Yeah I was pissed when I found out about this. Can't even watch a damn playoff game, I'm in VA. Whatever, they will realize theyre r****ded when we're on ABC for the Finals.
before everyone freaks out, see if your market is participating in the fre NBAtv Preview. If so, you might be able to see the game on your cable provider from www.nbatv.com
