so now that i have experienced whats its like to be at a game where everyone is a rocket fan its going to be hard to be by myself watching any of the remaining games. so here it is if any LA Rockets fans are down to watch game 3 anywhere, it can be at my place if needed, but i dont have nba tv hd, just nba tv. but please let me know so we can get something together. if its not possible for game 3 because of the early start time and all i understand. i think the SD folks are having a viewing party this sat i'll be attending i can bring some of y'all with me at least then so we have a good group there. but shoot me an email with any ideas of where...good sports bar or if at your own place. shrirambhat@gmail.com
well, i would go, but there are at least 3 things stopping me from going... 1. i'm in high school, a junior 2. my parents wouldn't let me go anyway 3. i have AP, IB, SAT, SAT II, and many other random tests next week which i am screwwwwwed for because all i've been doing is rockets rockets rockets 4. i can't drive yet ok, 4 things. coupled with the fact that i don't have high speed internet AND cable tv (every rockets game vs the clippers or lakers (or the "numerous" abc games) i get reaaall pumped up) all i can do is watch the pbp on chat for 2 hours and waste all my time.. although i did save up enough money to buy a rockets cap this week. i'm planning on wearing it to school!! stupid laker fans around me.. i'll accept any pity... (actually i'm just a little pissed off because verizon online dsl screwed up my order and it seems i'll never have dsl, at least until college)
heck if it wasnt for your test if you live around the la area i can and still will pick you up and go down to SD with me for game 4...i am almost positive the guys down there are having a party for it...but if you have tests you may have to attend to that first

yeah i am not sure but i told scyman and RAID that i would come down to watch games with them for sure since they have a group that watches a few games together... i have a corolla as you may know i can take really 3 other people with me if you are down to go thats 1, i think robgue is coming down too. hopefully the rockets fan in pomona is down too, i need to give him a call but if anyone else wants to come down go for it man. the more the better.
I'm down for driving down. I was told "the more the merrier" if anybody wants to drive down to san diego. we'll play "punch buggy" on the way

eh its sat night i think last time i drove back up late i dont really mind driving back late at all its on a weekend i dont have anything planned for sunday so i can sleep in then
if thats the case maybe we can both drive if enough LA people are willing to join in, that would be great to do that. SD is a beautiful place i love LA but i like to get out of LA as much as possible on the weekend. if there are like 4-5 then we can just take one car...hopefully ppl will email me about it.
damn.. that sounds pretty bad.. once you get a car it'll be fine though. i don't have cable either but i watch the games at restaurants or friends' houses.
Im in Irvine and i got work on thursday, but im pretty down for Saturday (hopefully to watch the final game of the series).... Where in SD is it goin down, cuz some parts of SD are hella far
its not too far i was able to get there from west la for the hornets game. i left my place around 3 and got there a bit after 5 and that was due to bad traffic in la county.
Im down to go, so you guys just keep updating your plans on this thread and hopefully we can get a good turnout for saturday

Either me or RAID will host on Saturday. We're both in northern SD so it's not too far. Wow, it looks like we'll be getting a good turnout!
Just talked to RAID. Looks like we're having it at his place...bigger tv and bigger couch. We may try doing a bbq or something before too if y'all can make it down earlier..or we can always go out afterward too.
