im going, always waited for a viewing party to actually be at the arena, reminiscent to the back 2 back years where they had viewing parties at the Summit during their runs

and to answer your question, they do have the commentary at past viewing parties, I've seen in most cases, they've showed the nationally televised feed, but since this is a NBA TV game, they will have Worrell/Drexler/Bullard commentary since I heard that NBA TV is not going to use their own staff in this year's playoffs.

probably the only thing annoying is they have Chrislord on the mic and act like JP Stevenson as the on court announcer after each shot, I don't mind it at the beginning of the game, but it kinda gets tiring throughout the game

Sounds fun, but I'm always worried that things like this will turn out being lame and I'll wish I stayed home...or that, like Dave said, the people running it will take the whole entertainment aspect too far and start to be annoying when all I want to do is watch the game.

I'll probably end up going, but also record the game so I can bail at halftime without missing anything if I have to.

nah you'll need to catch the hometown broadcast on my20 if you're not gonna watch it on NBAtv.

    my20 broadcasts in HD too.

you gotta beat the mad rush of stampeding fans at the doors, it's one of those wild and crazy viewing parties after all...

I'll skip this, don't want to be trampled by all those rabid rocket fans, you know...

    ha, pimp..

I would think they would sell food throughout the game, this the first time they've had a viewing party at the Toyota Center, I was speaking on past viewing parties at Hooters, Wings N' More, and BW3s
