Does BW3 have big screens? If not I'm going to my staple, Legends.

    Dudes,
the best place to watch games in Austin is RINGERS downtown.
They have all high def sets and projections.
Plus the food and the waitresses are great too.

    Legends!!!

We'll be there early and we'll be loud!!!

If you're in the neighborhood we could use all the help we can get to beat down the Mavs fans!

    GO ROCKETS!!!

See you there Humer! I'll probably be in a red/gold Olajuwon jersey.

I'll probably bring around 3 other guys to ringers....I just like the idea of watching the game in downtown austin more, and the parking should be manageable today...so those of you going to LEGENDS, head to Ringers instead.

And pay warehouse district drink prices? I'll stick to Legends, the huge projection screen TV where they'll likely have only the sound of the Rockets game and reasonable drink prices. If we get to the WCF, then maybe I'll head downtown.

BTW, anyone going to Legends that would care to split a few pitchers, I got the first one!

Is Legends that place on the corner of Mopac and 183? I sort of neglected the warehouse drink price element...

That's the one. We can rock that place if enough people come out as it's usually pretty empty unless there is a big, national sporting event or an important UT game.

ringers isnt expensive...its like $2 dos equis pints and 1.25 yaeger (however the hell you spell it) bombers.

if you want cheap drinks and projection tv just go to showplace lanes for the $7 pitchers of ziegenbock and high life.

    Dudes Ringers has HDTV

I haven't been to Legends in awhile, but I do care about HDTV cause I have one myself. Its like Hakeem, and normal tv is like Shawn Bradley.

Plus the waitresses at Ringers are Power Dancer esque.

The food is good too. I've been to Legends plenty of times.

Ringers is owned by an old pal of mine, we used to bartend together in the old days in Austin.

never thought i'd update a viewing thread but OMG! ringers was freaking amazing. it was completely packed with rox fans. after the game everyone was yelling HOUSTON ROCKETS!. we were all pretty much mocking this one r****ded dallas fan who was talking crap saying HOUSTON SUCKS. Man what an amazing setting to watch the game. I still think I have alcohol in my system from last night too. WAAAY too much drinking.

Great game lets do it again for game 3.

Sounds like a similar scenario at Legends, except with fewer people(all Rockets fans and 1 Mavs fan).

We didn't realize Ringers was 21 and up ... so we headed to BW3's instead. There were about 15 Rox fans there and 6 Mavs fans. If we win on Thursday, we're driving back to Houston Saturday to watch the game in a Houston atmosphere.
