Game two was awesome! Still no Achebe, unless he was hiding again, and slcgriff emailed and said he wouldn't be coming either. So just me and Moe, and Moe decided to stay for more games....

Recap, Ratings, and interviews with Darren Kelly, Jim Boylan, and Larry Smith coming up....

Right... as has been pointed out already... if that's all the recap you want, then why am I driving an hour one way every day and skipping work? [IMG]

    DH,

Who defensively was guarding Battier the most from the Rockets, and what were your impressions on how they did? I saw your note on Eddie playing admirably in stretches against him... did the Rockets have him as the primary defender on Battier, or did Morris and Langhi take time on him as well? If so, how did they fare? Thanks for the recap...

Maybe Moe can back me up on this when he gets back... But I believe Battier was primarily guarded by Langhi, with Griffin getting some of the duty. I know I saw him change Battier's shot a couple of times, which is very impressive. Griffin was doing a good job helping out on defense. Kelly also spent some time on Battier, and did well enough. He's a gambler on defense for sure.

But Shane Battier is Shane Battier. He was amazing in his own right, and deserves all the credit in the world for a great game. They didn't lose on his account.

Great recap DH! Man who ever wrote the recap for that article must have just mailed it in. The typos and screw ups are glaringly embarrassing.

Probably the same universe that counted the Rockets game 1 loss to Dallas as a win.
