I don't think she's that bad! I mean it's her first year she might get better!

It's very painful to listen to her speak, because there is no flow to her commentary. No disrespect to the woman, but it's time to bring in someone who has experience and know how to speak without studdddering. Not everyone is made to be a commentary, stick to playing basketball Cooper..

Might as well not worry about Miss Cooper. I doubt she'll get booted this season anyway. The game is what counts anyway.

The pigtails did look nice. :D

If you can get Miller off the ground with anything less than a 747, you are accomplishing something.

I love Coop to death, and there is something cute and endearing about her personality.

....but she ain't getting any better.

You know how bad you feel for a good friend when they have to get up in front of a crowd to speak and they're SO nervous that they can't say ANYTHING right.

That's how I feel everytime I see Coop at halftime.

I feel bad for Lisa Malosky.

During halftime last night I turned my radio to 740 and she was being interviewed for their sports show. She was expalining how there is discrimination for women in sports television. She said as women get older their chance to maintain a job covering sports grows slimmer and slimmer. She has a point.

How many older women do you see reporting for ESPN and the like? While if you are a man you can hold onto a job late into geratrics (see Dick Vitale, Beano Cook, Dr. Jack, etc., etc.)

I would much rather see an older Malosky who can articulate well and present commentary and highlights in an effective manner than hear Cooper stumble over every little thing she says.

the only problem I see with that hypothesis is that Cooper and Malosky are about the same age.

Coop started playing college ball in 83. By my math, that puts her at pushing 40

Im not sure how old Malosky is, but just judging by her looks, I would say she is up there also.

It would be one thing if they replaced her with a young incompetant woman...but they didnt.

    edit...I found her birthdate...

Coop was born in 1963. So she is definitely 40.
