my g/f is looking to get one and since there is a promo (3.9 financing) that ends next week she might end up with one this weekend. she is looking for at the 2005 4 dr base model with a sunroof. she likes the 2 door also but i think she will get tired of sports ride so in the long run the 4dr will be better suited for her (plus she wont drive the 2dr like its meant to be driven). how much did you guys pay for yours and what do you think is a good price? the price we have gotten so far was $29,900 but thats without negotiation. if you all have any tips i would greatly appreciate that also.

i agree but she wont even drive it like its meant to be driven. when she test drove the coupe the salesguy told her to take the corner at 65mph but of course she didnt we did the corner at a whopping 35mph!

You should be so lucky, my fiancee loves to speed.

I bought my current vehicle before the "employee pricing" and was looking at a G35, the price I got on the 4-door was $31,500 and after haggling and negotiating and walking out three or four times (never quite reaching the door) I got the guy down to $28,500. Then I started looking at the coupe and the price went up a little ($29,500, lots of options on the car). This all took place at the Infiniti dealership near Clear Lake, about four months ago.

why don't u check some of the online car sites like www.carsdirect.com. That's a good starting place. You know you should never pay more than what you can get at the online site without haggling.

I drive a 2005 G35 coupe black/black 5AT with aero, premium, and sport packages. I paid with tax $37K here in Dallas, TX. I got it 2 weeks after the 05 models were introduced.

Keep in mind that the 07s are going to be totally redone. The 06 also have some cosmetic changes.

    go to www.g35driver.com

Look up the official 06 thread. You can also interact with other G35 enthusiasts on this board.

Actually the 05 4 doors look pretty sweet. I really like the Black or that blue color that is out now for it. Sport package wheels look sharp on it too.

Do all of your negotiations via the internet sales guys if possible. Trust me on this.

Got my 4-door G35 through Crest in Plano... they beat the best price I could get in Houston by $1200. I just worked through email with one of the internet sales managers. Went for black/black, premium C, Nav, XM radio, tinting, etc. Got it at Edmunds invoice... they also held the car for 4 days without a credit card because I couldn't make it up until the weekend. Crest has one of the largest selections in Texas, and they were just really cool to deal with... :)
