    Anyone see G-Love in Dallas last night or in Austin on Monday?

    He's playing at Numbers tonight and I want to go but showtime is at 9pm. I need to know if there is an opening band. If there is an opener, that means G-love will come on closer to 11pm. Since I have a 7am meeting on Thursday.....well, it nots looking good for me.

    I thought the Glove was an opening act in LA now? He never seems to be the closer anymore....

    seen him twice. they were bad-a$$ when they opened for 311; the crowd was really into them. also saw them at ACL Festival, but only caught the last 4 songs or so, but it was a good showing as well.

    i like them, but they're nothing special.

    Yeah I was hoping he would come on at 9, be done by 11, and I could catch the 4th quarter. Not looking good.

    I was a big G. Love fan in junior high and high school, and used to cover one of his songs combined with Al Kooper's version of "Season of the Witch" in 1997-98 after hearing him pull it off. I still have his haircut.

    But the cat got lazy and decided to follow a middling hippie-ish vibe that is beyond boring. That Jack Johnson shyte. Horrible. It's his call that he wants to play for stoners for the rest of his life, I just wish he would have continued on with the Son House covers.
