    PG-Francis
    SG-Mobley
    SF-?
    PF-Okafor
    C-Cato

Magic should have a good season if this is their lineup, unless they trade for shaq. If they trade for shaq Cato, Franchise and Cat would be split up. So we could possibly see a Rocket in a purple in Gold.

The Magic would have a .500 squad, lacking a bench, with that lineup.

The Rocket deal is nowhere near a done deal - it may not even be likely! - and Shaq ain't coming to Orlando without McGrady staying.

So the 5-8 ceed in the East is a big improvement. Orlando should jump MF!

Yeah, I would say around a .500 squad. That's what Miami used to get the 4th seed.

Of course, if mfclark gets his way, their lineup would be:

    PG- Lue
    SG- Johnson
    SF- Marion
    PF- Okafor
    C- Declerq

They only have 3 starters and you're worried about the bench? :p

That lineup is WAY better then the Magic's lineup right now.

    PG- LOL!

SG - Mc "I want out" Grady

    SF - Crap

    PF - Poop

    C - Turd

We went to the Playoffs in the WEST. You get 3 starters off that team. This is the weakest draft in years, unless you want a team like the Bulls (lots of sucky young lotto picks but ohhhh they have potential for growth!!!)

that lineup will kill in the east. Remeber 2 years ago when Francis and mobley led the Rockets to a perfect record against the Atlantic Division. In the east they would finish i think at least 4th if not 3rd. Especially since Grant Hill is suppose to be healthy.

ROCKETS will play the MAGIC in the finals next year

At the beginning of last season, the Magic had basically three NBA-quality starters, two of which essentially played the same position (Gooden and Howard).

If the Phoenix trade went down, you'd have three NBA-quality starters, two of which essentially play the same position (Johnson, Marion). You'd use the number 7 pick on a PG prospect that would probably be a second rounder in any other draft.

If the Houston trade went down, you'd have one of the top backcourts in the league (before Yao came along, it was generally aknowledged that Francis/Mobley was the second best backcourt in the league, if not the best), and Cato... Well, I won't say he's a serviceable big man. But he once scored 27points. He once grabbed 17 rebounds. He once blocked 8 shots... Remind yourself of that every time you see him sitting on the bench twiddling his thumbs.

You're a playoff team if you make the trade with Houston. You'd be getting three members of a playoff team's starting lineup, not to mention the best player in college. If you make the trade with Phoenix or the Clippers... Are you any better than Phoenix or the Clippers were? The answer is a resounding NO.
