Funny story I thought Rockets fans would appreciate

    So I'm a senior at the University of Montana as is the son of John Stockton, who is in a few of my classes. His name is Houston Stockton (somewhat ironically). Today we were doing presentations, and my teacher (who talks like Elmer Fudd) starts listing the people who have to present today and incorrectly calls the kid, "John Stockton." I start silently cracking up, cause I realize it's like the fourth time he's done it over the year. Houston, quietly tries to correct him saying, "Houston." Then once again when he's up to present the teacher calls, "John Stockton."

    The kid goes up to the front of the class and before presenting he says, "It's Houston actually."

    My teacher says, "Oh my mistake, because John Stockton was that super duper athlete guy. You got any relation to him?"

    The kid tries to explain that he's his dad, but my Elmer Fudd voiced teacher just rants on about John Stockton and John Houston.

    The whole class is pretty much laughing at this point, just because Houston was unable to get a word in to explain that he's his dad. Finally by the end of class he's calling him John Houston the whole time, thinking that that's his name.

    You know what's weird? I know this guy named Utah Olajuwon and my grandpa always calls him John Utah.
