In the West, 5 teams in consecutive order from 5-9th seed with 25 losses and one win between all of them consecutively. 5 Oklahoma City 31 25 6 Portland 30 25 7 Denver 29 25 8 New Orleans 28 25 9 L.A. Clippers 27 25
It was the same 10 years ago 2007-2008 where seeds 1-6 were within 2 games, same year Rockets won 22 games EDIT: nevermind, re-read what you said, that is pretty odd 1 Los Angeles Lakers 57 25 .695 - x 2 New Orleans Hornets 56 26 .683 1.0 x 3 San Antonio Spurs 56 26 .683 1.0 x 4 Utah Jazz 54 28 .659 3.0 x 5 Houston Rockets 55 27 .671 2.0 x 6 Phoenix Suns 55 27 .671 2.0 x 7 Dallas Mavericks 51 31 .622 6.0 x 8 Denver Nuggets 50 32 .610 7.0 x 9 Golden State Warriors 48 34 .585 9.0
It's late, so excuse my math skills being fuzzy. Hypothetically, if OKC were to lose a game (26 losses) while everyone stays the same (25 losses), would OKC fall into the 9th spot, while everyone moves up 1?
Recently there was a Super Blood Moon that was RED. Then, SpaceX launched the biggest ROCKET into space carrying a Tesla Roadster, which was also RED. The Chinese New Year marks the year of the DOG. Chris Paul is the POINT GOD or actually the POINT DOG according the Kabbalah reverse cipher. I'm not Gematria expert, but all sign are pointing towards this being the era of the RED ROCKET POINT DOG.
Remember when the Rockets were in Utahs position before James Harden era? We would be 25-27 a few years ago try to make the playoffs and end up with 9th place.
Are we going to ignore the tight race to the bottom this year? Only 1.5 games separating the bottom SEVEN teams.
It's great, almost every single year, but this year it's even closer. The play-offs are going to be some of the best in the West in years, East as well. Right now it's 5 teams with 26 losses, could be 6 tonight if Nuggets beat the Wolves. The Spurs are 3rd seed, but it's definitely not a comfortable one. Makes sense without Kawhi but still they're not the team to beat this year. They could drop very fast if Kawhi remains out.
They're not so much funny anymore, but crazy. It's 2015 all over again, though that time the last day it was 2-6 stilll undecided, but if this continues we could have a 4-8th seed shake-up until the very last play day. Exciting!!
