Haha. I liked it, seeing OSU fans passionately pissed off. I don't blame them, any true school fan would do it. But I guess that's the only thing OSU has beaten w/ a Florida logo on it this year. BTW, shouldn't they stop calling it 'THE Ohio State University'? Maybe call it 'an Ohio state university'.
I like the guy who kicked it then walked off. I wish they had some fake cops there. btw, what is so awesome about winning a contest then having your mascot defouled?
For the amount it cost to mold it they probably could've made some formwork and cast an Albert out of QuickCrete. Nike probably went with the styrofoam one to intentionally watch it get destroyed.
The guy who destroyed the statue was actually a Nike employee. Apparently, the Nike crew was sitting out there for a while waiting for someone to destroy the statue, but they got too damn cold and destroyed it themselves.
That's actually near a bar near campus, not on campus. I don't remember seeing the guy, but then again, I usually have 14 hour days. Damn premedicine....
