Pavel 7'3 303 lbs Projected draft position 12
    Ha-Seungjin 7'3 305 lbs Projected position 32

Both have some skills like Yao and may be even stronger.
While Yao was a consensus top 2 pick, Pavel and Ha get
    no love from scouts.

Maybe because those two aren't as popular or well known as Yao and don't have the same marketability as Yao does

    1) they are a bit shorter.
    2) they are not as skilled. I don't know about Pavel, is he even in the NT of Russia? Ha was abused by Yao in the Asia game to the point he was benched after 4 minutes play and never steped on the court again in that game.

They are not at the same level of Yao. If it is that easy to find skilled 7'5 men, we wouldn't be paying so much attention to Yao.

Yao had a ton of experience in international competition and absolutely dominated Chinese Pro Ball.

Ha is only a year removed from High School and Pavel hadn't been playing a lot of organized ball until really this year.

The big difference is Yao play basketball not just because he is tall. The other two guys started playing basketball because they are tall.

Uh, have you seen these guys play? If you have, then compare away, if you haven't then what's the point? Scouts and GMs saw Yao workout before the draft.
