From ESPN..... The Philadelphia 76ers have traded forward Alan Henderson to the Utah Jazz for the rights to swap 2007 second-round draft picks The Sixers would have to win about all their games and the Jazz lose about all theirs for the 6ers to want to swap positions. Why even bother putting in such a right to swap 2007 2nd rounders? Like insuring your house against a meteor strike I guess. Yes this was a slow trade deadline day--what a trifecta of trades we got with this being the bottom of the barrell. Funny thing is I thought this guy sucked almost a decade ago.
Well Philly needed something to come their way in order for the deal to go down according to CBA rules. And they don't care about the draft picks, they were happy to get rid of Henderson's salary.
this has got to make henderson feel bittersweet, he went to a playoff team, but he got traded for basically nothing
