Bought this on CL last week and changed my mind to a mountain bike soon after. Fuji track with flip flop hub. Origin 8 flat bar, tektro brake, alex wheels, and 53 cm I believe. So it's currently in fixed setup? I don't know if I could manage without the ability to coast even without getting tired, just for sharp turns & curbs, but I've read you have to give it at least a month to adapt, & am curious about the supposed feeel of connectivity to the road etc. How have you been managing on it so far? What part of town are you in?
currently fixed but you can switch to freewheel very easily. i actually like it. your legs get used to pedaling and if you go downhill just relax your legs and they just move with the pedals. id rather fix than free bc you have more slowing down ability as the front brake works but not like a disc brake does. im in meyerland. come check it out if you want
