Umm...do we really need this? What are they thinking? "The Fugitive" movie starring Harrison Ford is the tops this line of malarky is going to get. Then, we had to put up with that sequel which wasn't nearly as good. Now, we've got some soap opera smuck playing the fugitive in a made for TV series.

And, what's the first thing he says in the series commercials:

    "I didn't kill my wife!"

    Duh [IMG]

How's that song from Def Leppard go:

"Better to burn out...then fade away."

I guess Hollywood is trying to prove this point. Some exec sitting somewhere with a lame idea says "Why don't we bring back the fugitive for TV". Great idea, butthead [IMG].

Here's hoping to not be disappointed. Cheers.

The original TV series in the 60's was pretty good, I don't see why they would want to ruin that and the great movie by making a new series.

Tim Daly's a decent actor. He was pretty funny on TV in Wings and in the movie The Object of My Affection. I don't plan on watching it though.

I haven't watched ANYTHING on CBS in years (other than the Final 4) and that includes 'Surivivor'.

Tim Daly has already been in another mini-series about a green beret killer who killed not only his wife but his kids, also. You might have seen it...it was called "Fatal Vision" and based on a true story. I only remember it because I read the book on the real deal. I'm sure that had a lot to do with him being selected for this role.

But, even he's been there and done that. He was even saying "I didn't kill my wife" in that mini-series [IMG]. I hope they match it up in the same time slot/day against Survivor 2 [IMG].

The orginal Fatal Vision Movie didn't star Tim Daly, I don't think. It was somebody else. And it was one of the best made for TV movies I've seen. Maybe he did a follow up to that movie. I think the orginal was made in the early 80's. Still a good movie though.

Tim Daly played David Koresh in the TV movie about the Branch Davidian thing. He's also done the voice of Superman in the recent Superman cartoon series.

I believe Gary Cole (of Midnight Caller and The Brady Bunch Movie fame) played Jeffrey MacDonald in Fatal Vision.
