Why didn't they show Landry being introduced in the introductions and the crowd's reaction?

And why didn't they show the Landry tribute that apparently they showed in the arena? Clyde and Worrell even referred to it and how great it was.

Just really disappointed, esp since, for most Rockets fans, Landry was our favorite.

Yea definitely I was wondering the same thing I thought maybe I missed it or something but I guess FSN just didn't care as much about it as we did pretty upsetting

    +1

he would have done good things today I know it.. Just the way he brings up the ball shows purpose.. Conroy didn't do horribly just didn't do much of anything..

Saw the Landry tribute at the game. Good stuff. Only half of the crowd stood up for an ovation though.

Dude, get over it! Landry's team beat us..you should be complaining about the loss not over an ex-Rocket not getting enough coverage.

Landry is a good player, But not special. He's a sixth man on an elite team. We got a legit 20+ ppg scorer and draft picks for him. Lettem have a win now the fruits of this trade will taste good later.

I was sitting directly behind the Sac bench and Landry was definitely peeking up at his tribute video while Westphal was preaching in that 1st time-out. He seemed unmoved by it, though, no reaction.

He did have a lot of fun on the court trash-talking with Chuck and Luis. When Andersen checked in in the 1st qtr and matched up with Carl everyone from the Kings bench yelled at him to take him to the hole. :)

Carl greeted his teammates (Brooks, Budinger, Chuck mostly) during warm-ups. Even Temple got a few 'hello's' but was surprised nobody from the Rockets acknowledged Dorsey.

On the flipside, you could tell Garcia was really close to Martin. He kept telling the coaches, "I know all his moves, he ain't doing jack tonight."

But I was really shocked at the lack of substance in coaching time-outs. Westphal spends maybe 5 seconds repeating these overstate-the-obvious phrases like, "Drive to the basket, move after you pass.." and the rest of the time-out everyone just sits there, staring at the ground. Beno was the only one who seemed to pay any attention and asked questions.. Tyreke blew off the coaches countless times.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. Cool to see inside the team like that.
