Actually, he knew I didn't use them and expected me to sell them. I have a lot of things of his and guns are the least necessary for me.
he can ship them to a FFL in your state then you have go pick them up and pass the NICS background check.
i have never bought a gun before. how would this work? do we just meet and exchange guns and cash? what is the procedure here?
and who would do the background check? jeff? or do we take it somewhere like a middle man and go through the process there?
Pretty much a place that has a license to sale (middleman). You fill out some paperwork and they'll call FBI for a background check. If everything is clear it should take less than 20 minutes.
If you live in Texas there is nothing to do except give jeff cash and take the guns. There is no background check for face to face transactions if you both live in the same state.
