Seriously, where the f-k do we go from here?

Honestly, Yao is great, I love Yao, but I have a very sinking feeling that this type of injury is going to be a problem long term. Broken bone right below the knee? That don't sound good - specially if you're 300 lbs.

It hurts man. Hurts bad. We are in trouble before our time. It's not fair, but it happened. :(

Oden sucked today but I wouldn't be suprised the Rockets have a top ten pick again this year.

I hope rox won't have the luck bad enough to have a Grant Hill and Ralph Sampson at the same time.

That's why they're keeping Yao out for 2+ months. So the injury can heal and there aren't any longterm effects.

I'm not worried about Yao regaining his MVP form when he gets back. But the Rockets have to do something about T-Mac. And getting a proven 3rd scorer would be a good idea. Maybe that's where a high draft pick will help. Provided they actually keep the pick this time and don't trade it for a Shane Battier-type.

If we tank we cant ****ing get in loterry because some teams just suck too much...

If we try play then we will still end up just missing playoffs due to the competition in west

    THis is bull****.

I say fully rebuild this god dam club and trade everyone away.(I am pissed right now but thats what im thinking)

didn't you hear that oden has leg balance issue? one of his leg is significantly longer than the other; he has to balance himself while playing with those legs. he is good for college freshman; but then again, outside of a few blocks, he wasn't that impressive. probably one of the better bigs in nba, but i think we all know that yao's offensive game is sooooooooo far ahead of any american born bigs outside of shaq; i don't think anyone with the offensive skillset of yao will come out in the next decade. oh well, i guess oden is as good as it gets after yao

If he needs surgery, then I'll be very worried. But if all this requires is rest, then he'll come back strong.

The real concern is McGrady's back. It's chronic and we can't go into every season expecting him to miss at least a month's time.

isnt there a reason why houston is called clutch city?...from what i know...clutch means rising above yourself in times of desperation...and right now we're pretty f*cked...dont you guys have any faith in our bench?...the same bench that overcame a 27 point deficit a week ago...the same bench that has head who's top 5 in 3 point shooting...the same bench who's got a 40 year old man who can still hold up 4 blocks a night....and a bench full of rookies like novak and vspan just begging to prove their worth to jvg...

This is the worst I have felt as a Rox fan in years...and no, I am not kidding.

One great player who won't ever stay healthy for an entire season, and another great player who is becoming just as injury-prone.

It completely sucks...I can only hope that Morey's number-crunching skills would be utilized to get the Rockets the most durable talents out there, because you're no good if you ain't playing.

Thats the thing about tall guys...When they are over like 7' and weigh 300 pounds, they tend to have problems with their knees and their feet (ala Rik Smits). I hate to say it, but I think you're right. This will probably be an ongoing problem for the rest of his career...

January was not the month to go down with injuries. If Van Gundy can coach us to .500 or better in January not only does the man deserve coach of the year but an extension would be in order.

This has to be our year. Tmac is on his last legs, we got a steal in Bonzi Wells, and he wont be here next year. If we lose out on the playoff race because of Yao and Mac missing time, we need to tank for the highest possible draft pick. Otherwise the Yao and Tmac idea was a failure.
