What is wrong with this team, they absolutely cannot win on the road. Some guys look like they have no clue on what they're doing and when I watch this team sometimes it makes me want to go out and try to walk on to this team. Some of these guys have very little talent and combine that with very little b-ball intellgience than add to that very little effort. you got a very bad ball player. If Andre has a off-night thats ball game nobody can step it up. Losing to atm and K-state is just unacceptable for the expectations the team has. i know its tough to play at aTm but they got pull it out. Heck the football team did it. Many had tech going to the sweet 16 now ill just settle a ncaa birth. They should have beaten OU that would have made up fo all this but they cheated that away from tech. Tech has very little room for error just to make the ncaa tourney. what's wrong with this team?
Personally, I hate tech, and bobby knight, in particular. But, to answer your question, I think the loss of andy ellis hurt more than people think. sure, he wasn't an all-american by any means. But he provided senior leadership, scoring and rebounding, and a general sense of toughness to that team. Those are all pretty crucial when trying to win on the road. This year, I just don't fear Tech at all. I thought they were overrated last year, but this year I think they are a little bit worse.
