Do not support the lakers/cavs finals. Let us have the highest rating game 6 ever for a basketball game on espn. That'll make stern's marketing crew think twice next time before doubting what the people want to see.

Shane's typically lights out defense without fouling suddenly yields a ton of fouls? Hmm... perfectly, eh?

Not why we lost, but I would hardly call it perfect.

he had 4 fouls, it's not like he's never EVER gotten 4 fouls before in a game
Kobe also had 4, and he never fouls

He got them very quickly (and if you watched, a few weren't really fouls) and ended up not guarding Kobe for quite a while.

This is a failure. If there is a Kobe v Lebron finals this is because those are the two best teams in the NBA with the two best players in the NBA on those teams. Was the NBA rigged back during the Bird vs Magic days? Umm NO, the good players usually elevate their teams and make it to the finals.

These conspiracy theories should be deleted from the board as soon as they are posted. I love the NBA and crap like this hurts the credibility of something that I, and many other fans LOVE.

Umm I think it was maybe 2-3 minutes that he wasnt guarding kobe due to foul trouble. And Kobe didnt go off or anything in those few minutes so I dont really see how you can say him getting in a little bit of foul trouble changed this game. Also Shane usually does foul Kobe while defending him, they just dont see it or dont call it.

There's no question some of the calls were blatantly one-sided. How is a Kobe elbow to Artest's neck a no call but telling someone in their face not to elbow you worthy of an ejection? Ron's foul on Gasol was no flagrant 2 either, but it kept him out of the end of the game. Fisher's obvious flagrant 2 was not called until after the game was over (he wasn't ejected). Too many discrepancies. And this obviously isn't the first or only time the refs have shown bias. Our series with Dallas a few years back was obvious, as was D.Wade's magical carpet-ride to a finals trip in 06.

You don't think that missed intentional foul that let the Nuggets take the lead away from Dallas was a blatant refereeing error, the league's was of sending Mark Cuban a big F-U from the commish/refs?

Did biased calls change the outcome of this series? Probably not. Do they change outcomes? Definitely.

This is the kind of crap that makes Rocket fans look bad.

We got our asses handed to us and now we're going to cry about fouls? Is that guy blind or doesn't know basketball? On video #2 at 31 seconds...Ron's foot is clearly on the 3pt line and Kobe's knee into Yao is no foul either.

Just like Phil Jackson said "Give them som F****** credit".

We didn't have Yao and TMAC, we didn't need the refs to lose this series.

Yep but Tim Donaghy was lining his own pockets. He wasn't doing this because Stern wanted "Kobe/Lebron" in the finals. This ref was cheating due to the Vegas lines.... that's not a conspiracy theory.

There was bad calls on both sides. This series was played fairly and the Rockets lost fairly. But kudos to the OP for making the videos. I like the over-dramatization. Now the 2002 WCF...is another story.
