Who's going to give it a try?

This should be the biggest show that Fox is pushing this season.. It looks to have a Sci-Fi X-files theme to it and it's produced and written by J.J Abrams (Lost, Alias)..

So far the only downside for me before seeing the premiere has been that Joshua Jackson is in it (Dawson's Creek).. I hope the show is so good that I never notice his cheesy acting..

    Starts tonight on Fox 7c

And yes, that guy is ghey, but the show may still be worth watching...

I will be watching it.. there was a movie that Joshua Jackson did well in... ummm it was during Dawson's Creek... Skulls i think it was called. So maybe he has some ability to act when not given cheesy dialogue.

I have heard it described as Xfiles, meets Alias, meets LOST. So I don't know what to think.

    :)
Basically its about a secret section of the CIA who investigate odd happenings.

Is she on LSD in a water tank? She's trippin, dudez. Whoa...welcome to the plane arium, lady. Cue the Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon.

Hmm...Blair Brown is in this and she was in "Altered States" with William Hurt. I guess we don't have to guess where the "tripping in the water tank" idea came from. Coincidence? I think not.

The first episode was just enough for me to record next week's. Based on the premiere, I don't think the show is gonna make it.

Is it me, or does it seem like there are a boatload of borderline sci-fi type drama shows this fall?

As long as we stop getting CSI: Sacramento and the like, I'm okay with it

I really enjoyed it. But then again, I am someone who loved Alias and liked X-files and this really is a combo of the two like they said.

I knew when I saw Roberto Orci in the writing credits I would like it. He was integral in the development of Alias.

Lord Denethor as the mad scientist was pretty good. I liked it enough to DVR future episodes.

I actually enjoyed it...It's on my season pass from now on...

I wish Liason would have gotten naked, but I'll survive...So, the black dude is the bad guy? I'm assuming the "pattern" is the premise of the entire season and we'll get to see bits and pieces of it, enough to keep me intested...

it was enjoyable but i dont find the actress who played dunham to be a good enough actress to play the lead in a show and carry it. there was something about her that didnt sit completely right with me. the story was interesting enough for me to keep watching it thats for sure.

oh and using the same "creepy" music as LOST to lead into commercials was a bit corny

It wasn't exactly the same creepy music. But it is created by the same guy who did the original LOST music. He also did most of the music on Alias (and Veronica Mars). Stephen Davis is the guy's name, and typically I like the incidentals that he lays down for the shows.
