I'm going out on a limb by posting this here, but I know there are some posters living in NYC(mcmark, mateo, Rasselas, basso, VesceySux,RocketRichNYC) who might be interested in my latest project... So I'm playing harmonica in the NY International Fringe Fest... if you are going to be NYC in the next two weeks, come out to the Connelly Theater on East 4th between Avenue A and Avenue B... the play is called "Pierrot Le Quin" based on a short story by Guy De Maupassant. for those of you who dont know about Fringe, it is a three week long theater festival that takes over the Lower East Side of Manhattan, over 200 plays in three weeks will run in small venues throughout the LES... we have been rehearsing for about three weeks now and it has come together nicely. I am part of a harmonica/clarinet/accordion trio, and we are featured on stage throughout they play. running time is less than 45 minutes, and it is a sweet story about a little dog who guards an old lady's onion patch. I am really excited about the project, it is the first professional gig I have had in the city, so even if you don't come out, wish me luck, there are three performances left... for more dates and times, go to http://pierrotlequin.com/ and for more info on the music and cast, click http://pierrotlequin.com/page2.html it's going to be alot of fun....
