man i always tell myself not to watch this show. i always say to myself i hate it. but i watched the season finale out of curiousity... damn it... anybody else see it? at the end joey is getting rachel a cleanex and he bends down to get them under rosses jacket and an engagement ring falls out.. he turns around in shock and rachel thinks he is proposing.she says 'ok'. and ross is walking to the room with some freaking flowers. and thats how it ends. what a dumb way to end the season. they should have never married off chandler and monica, and now theyre getting all screwy with a joey rachel ross threeway thing. ..and yet i still watch the show. i dont know why. anybody else have any thoughts?
I've never liked the show, but my sister is addicted -- I just watched the last 20 minutes, and I was impressed. I want to know what's going to happen now . . .
I am so DAMN pissed too! Everyone knows that they'll straighten it out and Ross will end up with Rachel. Ruined my whole damn night. Can you say: <a href="http://www.jumptheshark.com">Jump the Shark</a>?!
I watched it, and I thought it was a good way to end it, considering Monica and Chandler are already hitched. But then again, I'm not a sitcome conesuer.
Yep....hit the nail on the coffin. They should have just had Ross propose and end it with Rachel not answering. Of course, that's not very interesting...either. Kind of a bummer to end the season on that note. It's not even Joey's ring...there is no way it will go unresolved. Oh well...so much for creative season-ending cliffhangers. Surf
I thought it was a clever way of ending the season because you dont know if Rachel is saying "ok" to marry Joey or "ok" that he found the ring in the coat because she did ask Joey to get some tissue out of Ross' jacket. So, its a nice cliffhanger but the previous 2 season were wayyyyy better.
They did this with the pregnancy thing as well, last season finale. Cheesy. Ross should have kept better care of the ring.
I would like to see Joey and Rachel get together, but there is no way this does not get resolved very quickly on the first show next season. It isnt Joey`s ring and he didnt plan on asking her, not to mention Ross finally got the nerve to tell Rachel how he feels. I thought the ending, although clever was not a real cliff-hanger.
Nothing will ever top the "Who shot Mr. Booooo-urns?" season finale cliffhanger a few years back on The Simpsons. Per friends, maybe it could have been "Who swapped Rachel's baby?" or "Why is Ross a huge dumbass?". I don't really care who Rachel ends up wit cause she a ho anyway. Girl, she didn't even know who's baby it was cause she was busy humping every man that walked by her apartment .
But you had to love the return of Janice. I know a lot of people don't like Chandler, but I think he is the funniest character.
Rachel knew who the father was -- it was everyone else who didn't. The only other person she had been with recently was her assistant, Tag. Ummm....not that I watch that dumb show or anything....
