While the Bobcats are in town, several of our key competitors are either squaring up each other or taking on the Eastern bigs. So long we can take care of business at home, it could pan out to be a great night for us! :D

    Utah @ Boston
Utah 'the road choking' Jazz @ Boston... yeh..

    LA Lakers @ Hornets
As much as I dislike that bunch of punks from NO, by Sunday evening, I would LOVE to see us on top of the World (West).

    Spurs @ Pistons
Another blow out jammed down spurs' throat? plz plz plz...

    Pacers @ Mavs
I'm living in hope. Go Pacers!

    Raptors @ Nuggets
That's well past my bed time

    Your take?...

I remember last game against those two teams. It is gonna be pretty close game (until Korver gets hot :)) but I'd say Celtics will win this one.

    LA Lakers @ Hornets

Last time they played at NO Lakers destroyed Hornets more by 20 points. But this one may not be that easy for LAL. They won against Raptors but past few games their defense hasn't looked that good.

    Spurs @ Pistons

They play at Detroit so I'd say Detroit will win but we never know. Very interesting matchup, I can only hope Detroit will be better.

    Pacers @ Mavs

Should we add anything? Only 15+ 3s by Pacers can make it happen but this is all about Dallas, isn't it?

    Raptors @ Nuggets

Denver will win (I'd love to be wrong)

I think Pistons can handle the Spurs, and hopefully the Hornets can beat the lakers for us, leading to a tie for Sundays showdown!

Now that Bruce Lee Bowen is suspended, Pistons should be able to handle the Spurs.

I don't want the Lakers to make the finals, but a Lakers/Celtics will be a much more interesting matchup, what with all the history both teams have!

I don't want to see the Spurs win another ring, and I don't think Detroit can beat them. I want to see Celtics/Rockets in the finals but in the smallest of chances that won't happen, I think I would have to go ahead and root for the East.

Who do you want to win other than us in the West?

    Dallas? HELL NO.
    San Antonio? Not Really.
    New Orleans? Pass.
    Denver? No thanks.
Golden State? I am from the Bay so that would be sick but I don't think there is a chance in hell.
    Lakers? Not really...not yet.
    Suns? Probably.

Three interesting games besides the Rockets:

Unless the Celtics lay an egg, I doubt Utah beats them.

Lakers and Hornets is a great matchup. Lakers will beat them if they bring their "A" game.

I want the Pistons to blast the Spurs. Between the flopping of Manu, Horry and Oberto, the complaining of TD and Bowen's cheap shots, I'm pretty down on the Spurs right now.

It's really too bad all three of these games overlap the Rockets/Bobcats. I don't mean to take anything for granted, but if we get a huge lead on the Bobcats, I'm gonna watch a lot of Lakers/Hornets.

Jazz@Celtics - Close game. D Will and Boozer will be riled up to even the series. I'll take my chance on the Jazz.

Lakers@Hornets - Hornets win. Hornets have quietly added Wells and Anderson which will be helpful in the playoffs. Wells also showed some signs of life in last game. Hornets match up with the Lakers pretty well. Hornet's last win vs Spurs was very impressive and the Hornets play in groove. CP3 is unstoppable. Lakers, on the other hand, are not playing well lately. Advantage Hornets.

Spurs@Pistons - Both teams are not playing well - nowhere near their top forms. But the Spurs plays a little better than the Pistons. Advantage Spurs.

Boozer's owning every forward the Celtics put on him. KG still hasnt tried to guard Boozer.

One thing amazing about the Celtics is their defense is so physical and the refs let them play on and dont mind to call fouls on them. Just look at how Glen Davis pushing Boozer with an extended hand all the way but no call.

The Lakers broadcast just reported that he has a sprained left ankle and won't return to the game tonight. Xrays are pending.

On another note, Odom is doing a fantastic job of defending David West thus far.

Man, the Celtics will only be a 5-8 seed in the WC. Now, they have homecourt advantage all the way.

Too much Deron Williams is lethal to the opposing team. If he plays aggressive and dominant in the playoffs, the Jazz are a finals contender. He must take over games more often and defer less to his teammates, especially when his teammates don't perform like last year against the Spurs.

After tonight the western conference standing has become very "interesting" as Sir Charles Barkely would say. This coming week would be crucial in the standings as alot of the top teams play each other.
