    I used to love geocities until they starting offering paid services and the free service started to suck. Do you guys know of any free web hosting services or like really cheap web hosting services that offer like around 50 mb of space and have a good amount of bandwidth?

    Define "cheap". You can also choose between Unix and NT hosting.

    I know of 2 places where you can get NT hosting for around $8-$14 per month.

    That site looks good too. I think that I might go with featureprice.com cause for only 10 bucks a month you get 1000 mb of space. Does anyone know if that service is good?

    Here's the place I hosted the Yao Ming videos on. I used an NT account, but they have a Unix account for about $8/month. It has 500 MB of space. They'll also register your domain name for free, too.

    Be careful about places that offer unlimited bandwidth. Most of them don't allow you to have a site where the primary purpose is to host downloads like zips, mpegs, jpgs, etc. Unlimited is rarely ever unlimited.

    web1000.com totally free hosting. no pop-ups. Too good to be true? Maybe. I've been on it for 4 months though and no problems here.

    I used your-site.com and it said that a confirmation email or something was sent to me and it's been like 2 hours and I haven't gotten one. Did that happen to you when you signed up.

    No I got mine pretty quickly. I think it took about 24 hours for them to set up my account. You may want to email them if you don't get that auto response soon.
