I've had something come up & can't make the game Sat. night, I'll still be at the bbq/pickup game though. My ticket is free for the taking, first come first serve.

    Make that three free tickets.

I have two tickets (already paid for) that I too am giving away.

    First come first serve. :)

PS - All I ask is for whoever takes my two tickets (which I paid $80 for) to make a donation to Clutch's tip jar.

I may actually be going, don't know for sure, so it would be hard to secure the tickets. If I can make it, I will post here.

Nah, I like Codell's suggestion - just make a donation to the tipjar, however much you want (the ticket cost me $35 I think).

    Enjoy the game.

Ahh, so there isn't anymore tix? I would LOVE to go. One or two tixs is cool for me. Give me an email on the icon above if they are still available. I would pay for them or donate to the tip jar. :)

Please make sure you email HeyPartner if you have a ticket to give away, or if you want a ticket. There is already a waiting list that is waiting on final confirmation of who all is going. If you want to insure yourself a ticket, we can still buy at $27.

Buck and Codell, hp says that you will never actually have a ticket in hand. They will be at Will Call in your name, thus you cannot actually give them away to another person. If you have an outside friend who you want to have the ticket, hp needs the name and email address/phone number of that person. cc.net giveaways probably should be first come, first serve via email as there is already a waiting list. Here's the address to do all giveaways and requests through:

    email here

    Smeg or HP,

Just want to make sure that HP has my email address (jfyoung@charter.net), and that all I have to do is go to the willcall place to pick up my ticket.

If that is not the way it will work, please let me know.

    Smeg,

I understand. But I can go down, pick them up and arrange to have the tickets delivered to whoever wants them.

First person to drop $20 in the tipjar can have my two tickets. :)

codell, your tickets have already being claimed. The only way I can give tickets away is as Smeggy described, as we have a waiting list already.

Also, all charitable contributions are going to the event and wedding presents, since we are over budget as is. Any extra cash will be used to buy strippers for the game and a rival Rockets web site with Smeggy as the head Admin.

    hehe,

Seriously, we are over-budget as is, and the logistics of going to get tickets physically in hand for specific people is too much for me to handle...as I am booked this week with picnic errands and pickup-game errands. Please just allow me to continue organizing everything via email this late in the game.

anyone want a ticket, please us the link Smeggy provided. I'm sure I can get you one.

    Smeg and HP,

Im not asking either of you to take on the responsibility of giving away my tickets. Ill handle it. Ive already received a few inquiry emails.

However, if me giving away my tickets is causing a problem because you are still looking to sell more tickets, then just say so and I wont post anything else about giving away the ones I have.

    Codell,

You emailed me last week to authorize me to give away your tickets.

I seriously have already given them away, and money offered is going to the wedding present, food, beer and $150 pickup game. I had a waiting list when you emailed last week to give them away. Anyone who has emailed you does not have a ticket unless they email me. There is a good chance I can still talk the Rockets into adding more tickets to a group discount, but I have to make the phone call...no one else can.

As for other tickets not already purchased, the price is $34 with a good chance at $27, if the Rockets will authorize it for discount.

Oily, forget the tipjar (sorry Clutch, I'll make a donation soon myself), get HP some cash to help defray his expenses for the whole event, he's been busting his ass to get this together & I'd hate for him to be out any money. Whether or not you claim my ticket, he can get you one anyway.

ps: codell, I left a phone message at your house.

Buck, I've already called Mario. I got him a ticket.

pps everyone: The waiting list contains some bbs VIPs (and wives) who can't confirm just, yet. The are being offered free tickets as Smeggy's special wedding guests. I have others lined up to purchase those returned tickets for the group party fund should they cancel. note: this is not being treated as a cc.net event that returns tickets to the site. Tickets are being returned to the honeymooners via me.

Please understand that we've been organizing this for 9 months and everyone has voted to give all extra cash/tickets to Smeggy, so I have all tickets covered and have already offered free tickets to a set of friends of Smeggy, even those tickets returned to the kitty are claimed.
