[Free Shakespeare] Miller Outdoor Theater @ Hermann Park

    Just a heads up... Miller Outdoor Theater (located in Hermann Park) is running "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and also "Much Ado About Nothing" through Sunday.


    I have seen both plays now and highly recommend them for even those who usually may cringe when they think of Shakespeare plays. These are delightfully done and very funny.

    If you grab free tickets (box office opens 1 hour before the show starts), you can get a seat near the front which has some ventilation.


    Or if you prefer, you can sit out on the lawn and view from afar.

    And they say Dallas has all the culture... pfffft. They ain't got nothin on Houston's theater productions.

    I'd say A Midsummer Night's Dream was certainly PG, but Much Ado About Nothing might push a little bit closer to PG-13 as it has quite a few innuendos you're sure to appreciate.
