Check out the link: free ipods! It's really easy. You go to the site and register an email address that they'll spam (so use one that you don't care much about). Then you do one of their offers (I think the easiest one is the one for ebay where you just register and bid on any item--the other offers are just doing some free trials and then cancelling them, which isn't bad either). Finally, refer five friends who do the same thing. BAM, you've got an ipod! When I first heard of this, I figured it HAD to be a scam. But after some research and personal testimonies about people who have gotten their free ipods, looks like this is legit. Here's proof: http://www.gearlive.com/archives/2004/07/freeipodscom_is.html Apparently this marketing technique creates a giant pyramid and they just bank on most people not following through or forgetting to cancel subscriptions and stuff. Not a big deal. Come on everybody do it! Let's get some free ipods!
this was posted a while back.... and i do think it's a spam... be careful! speaking of which... has anyone gotten their free mem stick yet?
Okay this sounds good. I registered and everything, with E-Bay, too, placed a bid, but I never got to the part about refering 5 friends. How do I get to that? I've come so far, I wanna get that supposed free Ipod. EDIT: I think I might have all this figured out. Except, I registered with E-Bay and free Ipods hasn't recognized that.
I think we are getting pretty fed up with free ipod posts... It's a scam... as soon as one of you guys get a free ipod, let us know! In the meantime, let us know how much your spam has doubled or tripled since signing up.
