Call me crazy, but a aging Champ Baily is better then Jackson. He'll provide leadership and help the development of the young corners. Having young players is great, but sometimes you need a guy thats been there to show them the ropes.

I really want some veteran additions and leadership on this team, oh, and proven players

Champ Bailey or Johnathan Joseph would be great additions, but not gonna happen.

they should also look at bringing in some interior defensive lineman and a wide receiver.

not true at all. the pass rush has no chance if receivers are beating Jackson and Mccain at the line of scrimmage.

Champ at 60% is better than any corner on our team will ever be.

We need to bring in a veteran corner, whether we draft another one or not.

it doesn't mean nothing. we've had games where we've generated pass rush, and still can't defend the pass. these guys aren't just getting beat...they're getting torched.

When the news of Aaron being interested in Houston came out, I posted the image of the last scene of Dumb and Dumber with the bikini models. Champ Bailey? No thank you. We're fine. Dallas needs help in defense, they're up north. :p

Since Kubiak is all about balance  ....we need a nice balance of older kids and the kids we do have. I don't know if I was high last night, but on one late night radio show, I heard that there might be an agreement between players and owners by the Superbowl. That would be a relief otherwise the chances of signing a free agent would be 0%

Bring in Marvin Lewis (or Mike Zimmer) to run the defense and we might get a shot at Johnathan Joseph as well as anyone else with ties to places they've coached in the past (Cincy and Baltimore for Lewis; Dallas, Atlanta, and Cincy for Zimmer).

none of them unless they're top 2 at their position. the players they sign could be worse than the players they already have and this franchise just can't risk that.

So it's a crime these days to have a dissenting/diverging opinion on a message board?

For all their warts, the Texans have a loyal, passionate fan base which can engage in thoughtful conversations about the direction of their football team. Why do we have to get petty when there's a disagreement on said direction?

Also, wouldn't it be funnier if you said bring in Bill Cowher as DC and maybe Greg Lloyd and Kevin Greene will sign. Hello Super Bowl?

Buddy Ryan is not walking through that door ;)

For three years, fans have been blaming the defensive line for not getting pressure within the two seconds that they have before all the receivers get open. The mask is off for that excuse. The pass rush hasn't been bad this year. Maybe not elite, but definitely not worst in the league, and pretty good at times. If you had Mario Williams, Ndamakung Suh, Kevin Williams, and Dwight Freeney on the line, they couldn't get enough pressure to keep Quin and Jackson from getting exposed.

They won't sign high priced FAgents, just not something they like do very often. Truth be told if they get a good DC/defensive staff in general, draft a Safety/CB and DT and maybe sign a veteran corner on the cheap...our "D" will be A LOT better.

Dude... I was just making a joke. It helps numb the pain of being a Texans fan.

Actually, I was referencing something Buddy Ryan actually said when he was DC with the Oilers. He said if we sign Wilber Marshall, we'll go to the Superbowl.

can we just drive a trick full of cash up to Haloti Ngata's house and call it an offseason...

at least lay down some serious and make the Ravens have to drastically overpay to keep him
