Lets not do this again. We are only setting ourselves up for failure and disappointment. If Morey pulls off something big? I will eat my own underwear with some gravy on it to make sure it tastes alright. Since I know he wont? I should be ok.
hi good question, and to be fair i'm not sure ... from what i remember, it was early 90's when i began to follow the team, one or two years before the back to back ... i've always prefered inside post players to shooters and there was a guy named hakeem that was pretty good in the paint at the time ^^ i remember watching the games of the 94 finals late in the night on a 13' inches black and white tv in my bedroom lol ... waking up 2 go 2 school was very hard
Killer B's of Beasley, Bynum & Barbosa. re-sign Lee and Dragon. Buyout Martin. move Bynum at the deadline for Howard(if necessary)....... DM: you're welcome!
The best UFAs are point guards (D-Will, Nash), or are old and/or not going anywhere (Nash, Allen, Garnett, Duncan). I don't see a way we can make a big splash in free agency. There's an outside chance at D-Will but a) He probably doesn't want to play here and would prefer to go to the Mavs are stay with the Nets b) Do we really want to pay max money for D-Will when we already have Lowry on a favorable contract and could probably sign Dragic on a favorable contract if Lowry were traded? D-Will isn't carrying the Nets anywhere, why would he carry us anywhere if he wasn't paired with another all-star? Another scenario I think is unlikely to happen is Morey severely overpaying for an RFA like Eric Gordon or Roy Hibbert to the point where their team wouldn't match the offer. Unless he feels these guys are likely superstars he isn't going to pay them the amount it would take to get them. I think the best and most likely routes to improve the team are trade. Morey will look to take advantage of teams dealing with financial/cap issues to either move up in the draft or acquire an all-star caliber, or at least near all-star caliber player who fits well with the team. If Dragic continues to play well while Lowry is down, expect Morey to sell high on Kyle to obtain a very high lotto pick or all-star and plug Dragic in as the new starting PG with a fresh extension. The #1 most likely scenario for me is Lowry for Gasol straight-up... 1-for-1 deal (we can absorb Gasol's salary with our cap space).
Roy Hibbert is not going to be a superstar... mark it... Allstar is his one of his greatest accomplishments Eric Gordon might become a star if he works hard.
Bienvenue sur le forum, même si visiblement ca fait déjà 1 an que t'es inscrit. Jocar, to answer your question, you have a few french companies related to the oil industry in the area. The french community, though small, has a few rockets fans.
we go after these players: During Free agency 2012-2013 Deron Williams Ersan Ilyasova Michael Beasley Eric Gordon Landry Fields Jeremy Lin Nicolas Batum Via trade because they will be expiring in 2014. (during season 2013-2014) Nikola Pekovic David West James Harden Serge Ibaka Dwight Howard Chris Paul
Its important to keep in mind that when Morey or another Rockets spokesperson refers to cap space, the thought process they most likely have in mind is taking back additional salary in a trade. -Ex: If they traded for Dwight Howard, they would be able to absorb the contract of Hedo Turkaglo in the process to make the deal more enticing to Orlando. Just an example, I do not think Dwight will be a Rocket next year. Who knows though. Houston will have the best offer IMO because of their assets + their ability to absorb bad contracts. Morey has said multiple times in interviews that signing free agents are the least efficient way to aquire top talent because the contracts are usually the most damaging to a teams salary cap flexibility. Its likley that he makes some offers this summer, but more likely than not, its salary for trades that he's most interested in.
You seem to forget that we're talking about the NBA. The whole league reeks of the corruption that has seeped from the very top. <a href='http://www.askmen.com/women/galleries/men/david-stern/picture-3.html'><img src='http://images.askmen.com/galleries/men/david-stern/pictures/david-stern-picture-3.jpg' width='' height='' border='0' alt='' /></a><p><a href='http://www.askmen.com/'> celebrity profile</a></p>
