There were several tall guards who went undrafted. Which of these free agent guards will the Rocks be able to entice to our camp -- Matt Carroll, Kirk Penny, etc.? Who would be the best fit? Also, as suggested in another thread, is Chris Marcus a viable option to invite?

I hate to say this being a uconn fan but i think the best guard not drafted has to be Marcus Hatten. He is an amazing scorer and could easily be a spark of the bench. He knows how to get to the hoop and score. Hes not going to turn out to be an omar cooke he will be a lot better and I think he could be a big help to the rockets off the bench.

Here's another undrafted player who was highly touted, although he isn't a guard:

Anderson Varejão 6-10 230 PF F.C. Barcelona (Brazil) 1982 - Plays with great enthusiasm. A high intensity player with great motivation. A good athlete with excellent size and agility. Improved dramatically in the past year and months even. His jump shot has really developed lately and has many very excited about his potential. Very creative offensive player, with soft touch. Solid shot blocker, rebounder.

Also, Marcus Hatten is from Baltimore, which is also a good thing. But he could be a very good, Eddie House or Shammond Williams type player of the bench.

Marcus Hatten is a 6 ft. tall SG who isn't quite as good as my man Hollis Price.
