Yeah agree, especially after reading this...

Tennessee’s potential overpay of Ridley notwithstanding, the market is going to dictate what Aiyuk and his team over at Athletes First demand in an extension. He’s now likely looking at upwards of $28 million per season with $70 million in guarantees. This would put Aiyuk in Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams company.

As for a potential trade, any inquiring team would have to offer up a first-round pick and change for San Francisco to even consider it. The team is in win-now mode. Moving Aiyuk for anything less just doesn’t make sense.

We can't afford him, but what's scary is Tennessee can. The last thing I want to face is him AND Ridley. It would be Mayo's wet dream to have those two targets.

If there is indeed an upcoming move that CJ will be happy about, my best guess is a new contract for Nico.

Especially now that we find out that they could be penalized for tampering, when it comes to Saquon’s negotiations.

    I’m happy with Mixon regardless.

No one's perfect Buck, hell I didn't want CJ and we see how well that take aged. Having said that, this is probably the most fun FA offseason I can recall for Texans in some time. Last year's draft was great, but FA was meh for the most part.

Not going to be Nico extension since he is still on rookie deal so it won't count against this year's cap.
Not saying we won't extend him, just that all these moves to clear cap wouldn't be because we are going to extend Nico.

That's what Im thinking. Reason being, what are we going to use in trade? A 2nd, a 3rd, etc?

We still need a DT, RB, TE, DB and Safety, unless the other GMs are like Nick and accept a 7th rnd pick

Proud of Nick and the Texans. They are diving all in while understanding how great CJ and Demeco are.

Sarge and Dr. Barrett have a relationship with the McNair’s and the tea leaves via trades/restructure suggest something is amiss. I figure we get wind of it very soon.

Really really hoping it is JJ.

Better not be a Nico extension. That would be so anticlimactic.

I'm an insider. My 3rd cousin's wife's brother is a janitor at headquarters. He was cleaning the bathroom and right before Nick flushed the guy heard "You've got a deal. A 2nd this year and a 4th next year for :::flush:::"

Don't think Gallup has lost a step. Dak just targets Ceedee about 900x a game.

How does a Miami beat reporter have a clue about Buffalo doings?
