    HEY HOOPS FANS!!!

The issue besides the wonderful vibes in the city because of our relief efforts are the continued pursuit of playoff longevity and competing with the Western Confrence Power Houses.

We have to address some more issues with our incomplete roster:

Namely, David Wesley, although a nice player at times he still doesn't fit the mold that we are trying to fill. We need a bigger athletic guard or wingman to compete with the Ginoblis, the Kobes, the Lebrons of the league. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO LET TRACY HOLD THE OTHER TEAM 2ND BEST WHEN WE CAN, INSTEAD OF THEIR VERY BEST.

It doesn't matter how we get rid of him, we just need to for the benifit of the team. We have to dig deeper than just Derek Anderson!!!
    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Other free agents are still free which ones spark your interest

    1.) Eddy Curry 6-11 C Bulls 16.1 ppg, 5.4 rpg
*Nice player with good skills, but could we get him cheap?

2.) Darius Songaila 6-9 PF Kings 7.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg
*Really enjoy his fundamentals, he just needs PT.

3.) Latrell Sprewell 6-5 SG Wolves 12.8 ppg, 3.2 rpg
*I don't think we will be able to feed his kids either.

4.) Vladimir Radmanovic 6-8 PF Sonics 11.8 ppg, 4.6 rpg
*Serious 3-pt threat, but rebounding is sorry for amount of PT.

    5.) Gerald Wallace 6-7 G/F Bobcats 11.1 ppg, 5.5 rpg
*The kind of athlete that can feel up the stands...Remeber the dunk
over BOKI NACHBAR in last preseason.

    Make it happen Houston !!!!

    ---------------------------------

I loved the 3-pt dual between Gilbert "I not goona pass" Arenas and Tracy
" I gonna shoot from the mid-court logo" McGrady...One for the ages.

And we sign these players with what? Our magic invisible money?

We make any moves from here, it'll be a TRADE, and probably a midseason one at that. We're out of the free agent market.

I woudn't say its incomplete. We have complete a trade or buyout by training camp or when the season starts b/c we have 16 players. We can't sign any free agens unless its a sign and trade deal. I'm sure, we'll work something out. I think Spree is going to the Fakers.

No, I was proposing a sign and trade that would get a player like Eddy Cuury or Gerald Wallace, that's the reason for the David Welsey poll Drexlerfan22.

    Rockets Roster

    Derek Anderson
    Vin Baker
    Jon Barry
    Lonny Baxter
    Ryan Bowen
    Torraye Braggs (FA)
    Luther Head
    Juwan Howard
    Mike James
    Tracy McGrady
    Dikembe Mutombo
    Moochie Norris
    Bob Sura
    Stromile Swift
    Charlie Ward
    David Wesley
    Yao Ming

I think we can safely say no to Eddy Curry. If we do make a trade, it will have to be a two for one deal.

Well, I wanted Gerald Wallace until I saw that he feels up the stands. I don't want to be felt up.

but seriously, I can't imagine any of the players listed being able to be had for David Wesley except Latrell Sprewell, and frankly, I think we're better off with David Wesley.

So we are really talking about trading Wesley and not free agency. JVG has said if enough of our guards get healthy and demand playing time, we will make moves.

The only realistic options on this poll are 1 & 4. We won't get a 1st rounder or a marquee player for Wesley. If we are lucky, we can trade him and throw Moochie or Baker in the mix for someone who might help us.
