Compare those two extended arms in the air. Holy smoke that's freaky!

He was 1 assist and 1 steal away from having a 5x5 again. That guy is amazing. I haven't seen any jazz games but I wanna see this guy play. His court awareness must be uncanny.

He has the quickest hops I've seen since a young Dream. He's a pogo stick. Sometimes I see him get beat off the dribble and he just turns and swats the ball away. What's scary is that I've seen him block shots with both hands. The guy is a freak.

I'm saving that picture. Anything the posterizes Carmelo is good in my book :)

Can we go ahead and award AK-47 the Defensive Player of the Year award now?

Boozer and AK on the frontline of a Sloan coached team? Utah is going to be good for a long time.

I hate to say it because he plays on the Jazz, but that guy makes it kind of hard to hate the Jazz...one of my favorite players in the league.

i watched the 2nd quater of the jazz game last night. this guys was simply amazing. on one stretch, he blocked a shot and when they tried to pass into the paint he jumped up and stole it. it all happened within 2, 3 seconds. simply ridiculous.

I agree that it's a lot harder to hate on this Utah team. Of course, losing Malone went a long way for that. Hopefully Jerry Sloan will finally get the COY award he should have already won.

Reason why I like AK47 is the things he does is all hustle plays and he gets the stats to show it. He's not lazy at all especially on defense. It's like he prides himself for that and it's not that type of physical brute force defense like bowen and artest.

I remember seeing him for the second time (after the 2000 Olympics) in the 2001 summer leagues, blocking E Griffin's FADEAWAY three-pointer. That was a bit of a "whoa" moment.

Outside of KG, Wade, LeBron, and Yao -- there's no player I enjoy watching more.

I agree. This guy reminds me of Larry Bird with much better defense, and much less mouth and ego. How can you not like this guy? Makes it hard not to like the Jazz. They truly play as a selfless team. And this guy is the motor.

If you use Internet Explorer, this is how it works:

Go to the image you want to insert - right click, select properties, mark the URL, ctrl-c, then make a post here and insert the URL you just copied with ctrl-v between the [IMG]. You can also use the shortcut above the edit box up there (IMG).

So, what happened to the stereotype that European players do not play defense? :)

Untill AK develops a consistent outside game, there is no comparison between him and Bird.

Watched the first half of the game. AK is a special player. Carmelo is really exposed playing against AK, a selfish player who only cares about his stats and has no clue as to how to get his teammates involved. He is not the top 3 players from the 03 draft anymore. LB, Wade, Hinrich, and Bosh are all better than him.
