I recently rented F&G from Netflix and fell in love with the series. Now I'm wondering if I should purchase the super delux dvd set from www.freaksandgeeks.com. It comes with two extra discs filled with outtakes that is not available from Netflix or Amazon. Does anyone have the special edition? Is it worth it?
That show is awesome. I had about 8 episodes on a VHS tape a long time ago. I haven't seen the DVD outtakes and extra scenes, but I bet they are pretty good.
Yes, the commentaries are definitely hilarious. Martin Starr is a bigger wiseass than his character Bill. Seth Rogen acts just like his sarcastic character Ken in the commentaries. A lot of bittersweet memories about working under the assumption that they will ben canceled. And all that is just from the regular DVD collection!
