Well even though none of my friends or relatives believe me, I know Ive seen a UFO.
It was about 2 years ago. Our chuch is right by Ellington Field (military airport type of thing)in Clear Lake. One day like at 10pm I was standing outside the church when I saw a shining white disk fly over me. It came from one end of the horizon and disappread towards the other end in less then a second. A friend was with me, but he claims to have seen nothing.

So I was wondering whats the freakiest thing you all have seen with your own eyes.

One time, I saw a Yugo make it all the way up a hill without stalling....No really, I did...honest...

OK, OK, I know that nobody will believe that first one, so I have another one...When I was on my high school swim team, we would eat out on road swim meets...Of course, we were on a tight eating budget and were VERY hungry after swim meets, so it was either Mr. Gatti's Pizza or Golden Corral. One time at Mr. Gatti's, this dude ate 24 slices of pizza...Needless to say, I would NOT have wanted to be his toilet the following morning...

Not the weirdest thing I've seen but the other day on the Encore movie channel they showed a movie called "Trenchcoat" and immediately afterwards they showed the Jay Mohr movie "Mafia!". Don't know if that was intentional or coincidence.

I saw this guy at the Westheimer Street Fest that had a hole in his tongue so big that he could put his girlfriends index finger through it. When her finger wasn't in his tongue he had 3 chain-like links going through it.

    Four Weird things, all true.

It was on a Saturday mourning in Homestead Florida. My Friend Robert Loftus and myself went out to hit and catch baseballs. The sky was a weird hazy-purple color at about 7 am, but it made no difference to us. I hit the first base ball up into the air and it never came down. Robbie waited for it, but it never fell from the sky. I hit it right at him, watched it float into the sky, and then watched it dissappear. He saw the same thing. It was in an open field, there were no clouds, and I swear to God that ball never came down. Believe it or not. We scoured that field all day and found nothing.

-Traveling from Syracuse to Rochester (RIT). A Trip that takes 1.5 hours at most by car. It took me and my sister 3.5 hours. We never stopped, we never hit traffic, and nothing out of the ordinary would have caused us to lose 2 hours. Yet, somehow, we lost it. The clock in the car was accurate. The clocks in both Syracuse and Rochester were accurate. It was not daylight savings. You tell me what happened to those two hours...

    - Third. I was being a bad boy in a house that did not belong to me. Never mind what I was doing, but in the middle of being bad, I heard a voice call out to me, "Chris!". That's my freakin name people! And it yelled as loud as could be as if to say stop that! It was right next to me. Literally in the room with me. I **** my pants thinking someone had come home and found me. I swear I searched the house up and down to find nothing. I was scared ****less and was careful. I then searched the neighborhood. I walked the neighborhood seven times wondering who could have said my name. I think it was God. I've never been the same since. Totally true.

I forget what the fourth thing was, but when I remember, I'll tell you that story. You could dismiss any of these, but I'm telling you they really happenend. Not doubt about it.

Oh yeah, I remember the fourth. It's more funny than weird. My friend Reggie and I were playing golf in an open field. The field was in the middle of a housing development, but as you know, that fact could never stop us from teeing it up. Several houses' backyards lined the field on all sides. My friend teed off from a big hill in the field and hit the golf ball solid. It sliced big time and began heading for one of the backyards. It darted to the right and went straight at seven or so people swimmimng in their backyard pool. They were having a huge party with drinks and food. Splash! From about 200 yards away Reggie had put it straight into a pool hazard. Having huge balls, he wandered over with me and asked, if you can believe it, "Can I play through? Did you see my golf ball come this way?" I was rolling all over the place laughing. We were just kids. The people in the pool, said "sure", and then one guy dived into the pool, found the ball, and threw it out. My friend Reggie said "thanks". And the pool guy then said, "we don't care, we don't live here anyway." I laughed for days. It was one of the funniest things I can remember.

Its not something I've seen, but something I heard from my cousin. He witnessed it on the Guiness Book of World Records TV Show (on FOX).
He said they there was a boy who was about 16, they opened up his gut, and inside they found a baby skull, teeth, hands and other human organs. Apparently, the boy's twin brother, who had died at birth, had deformed into his body, and was inside of him for 16 years.

    Pretty freaky.

Jamma34 I'm sorry, but I guess I should have said mosque instead of church. Our mosque is on Highway 3, rite across from Ellington Field's entrance. Did u live in Bay Knoll though? Im just curious, becasue I live in NorthFork rite next to Randalls and the church u were reffering to.

And Azim that is definitely the freakies thing I have ever heard. I sometimes watch those Guiness and Ripleys Believe It or Not shows. Man those shows are weird.

Yes, I saw that too. It was not a very pleasing sight. In that same episode, a lady balanced 30+ pots on her head (on a unicycle!), and a man got ran over by 4 trucks and what appeared to be a uhaul. These people are insane.

One time I walked outside and I saw this black cat trying to cross the street and maybe 3 feet behind it was this bird.

The bird kept landing on top of the cat and then flying away only to repeat the process. I found it amusing. I thought that the cat would at least respond, but appeared to be indifferent.

Not terribly exciting, but it was at least an unusual spectacle to witness.

I have 3 stories. One this year. One that happened in 1986. And another in 1981. I remember them all.

    The first one...

If you live in the Northeast, you know how when the heat comes on, it tends to make alot of noise and alot of loud "clanking".

Well, one day this winter, it was like 20 degrees outside and really cold because of the wind. I got into the shower and heard alot of "banging" all over the house. I thought it was the steam so I paid no attention to it. When I got out of the shower and started to walk to my room, I noticed the house was colder. I touched the pipes and the steam exhaust and they were cold. I thought all the banging was the heat. But it wasn't.

When I noticed how cold it was getting, I went to my landlord and told him that there was not heat. He said the boiler is broken but they should have it fixed within the hour.

About 3 hours later, the heat came back on and it got REALLY hot. I was so happy because now it was night time and it could of easily been about 0 degrees outside and about 20 below with the wind. I went and took another shower so that I can get ready for bed. When I got into the shower, I heard the same loud banging again all over the apartment. I thought it must of been the water or something so when I got out of the shower, the banging was still going on. On top of that, it turned REALLY COLD inside the apartment again. I mean colder than before. As I walked down the hall, I saw the light in my room on. I didn't remember it being on before. When I opened the door slowly, I saw a shadowy figure standing in front of my mirror and to the right. It looked like a woman. And then, she disappeared and my heat came back on 2 minutes later. It never happened again since...

    The second...

I was living in the Dominican Republic and at a basketball court. Most of the time, the lights tend to go out for hours at a time. We decided to just stay on the benches and talk. While they were telling stories, I was laying down looking up at the sky when after a while, I saw 6 little lights in the empty space. Now, when there are no city lights on and you live in the country, you KNOW that you see space a different way than most city people. Well, that night, I was witnessing a live "Star Wars". Three were red colored. The other three were green. They were going back and forth with little blinks of light shooting back and forth. My friends and I were laughing because we thought they were "lightning" bugs or somekind of insects that were fighting back and forth. But, after a while, we all saw that this was happening in space and after a while, one by one started to disappear. There was tiny explosions and everything! We were all in amazement as we saw these tiny, tiny, tiny objects in the sky doing all this. They were so tiny that if you just blink, you would lose where they were. After about an hour, we only saw 2 red ones left and flying off to the right. They were really tiny but no doubt that this was somekind of space battle or something like that. I know it sounds weird. But there were about 9 of us and we all saw this in the pitch black of night. Unbelieveable is the only word to describe it.

    The third...

I was about 10 years old and I use to sleep with my grandmother at times. My grandfather had died about 3 months before in the Dominican Republic and my grandmother was still mourning. One night, she woke up screaming really loud and I was really scared. When my father came in the room, my grandmother said that she dreamed that my grandfather was grabbing her by the wrists and was screaming at her that he was
murdered. When we looked at her wrists, she had my grandfathers finger marks and on one of her wrists, his college ring was showing clear as day with his initials FAM engraved on her skin. My father called the Dominican Republic council and had them redo the autopsy. It was later discovered that my grandfather was poisoned by a woman he was having an affair with.

Sorry for the winded explanations. But, in the famous words of Kurt Angle...ITS TRUE! ITS TRUE!

And Rockets03, I showed my mom your post of the UFO and she wants me to tell you that she is with you all the way.

She always tells me about the time she and my father were about 15 years old and they were sitting on the porch in the Dominican just talking. All of a sudden, a shiny object appeared over their little town and the whole community came outside. Once the object started to move, most of them started to chase it up a huge hill and into the woods. Once there, my mom said it glowed for about 4 or 5 minutes really, really bright. Then, it just disappeared into the sky. I tend to think this is absolutely true because when I go back for vacation to the same little town, I hear the same story fromt he same people my mom grew up with. They all tell it the EXACT same way right down to the last detail.

I don't believe in UFOs, but when I was about 7 or 8 I was out riding my bike in the late afternoon.

I remember hearing someone's radio, because they had their door open. The dude on the radio was saying that it was 105 F that day. Anyways, it was around 7:30 and just starting to get dark. I was riding my bike back home and I looked over to the block parallel to mine. I saw a transluscent glowing orb hovering about 30 ft in the air. It stayed there for just a couple of seconds then took off so fast that I couldn't keep up with it with my eyes.

    ----------------

Another freaky thing I saw at the Guadalupe one year. I think it was Labor Day or Memorial Day and the river was packed. There were more people on the river that day than I've ever seen. Anyways, we were coming up to the cliff that everyone jumps off of. It looks like Fort Knox now, but then it was much easier to climb up and jump off. So, there's all these drunk idiots yelling and hootin' and hollerin'. Some girls were flashing the huge crowd below.

Then this one very very drunk dude decides that he is going to do a back flip off the cliff. Well, that wasn't a very good idea. He lands flat, I mean totally flat, on his back in the water. You could just tell how hard he hit by the smacking sound it made when he hit the water. So, a couple of seconds later he finally comes up, and he's coughing up blood. Some people in a raft go over to him and pull him in. On his back were two or three deep purple patches where it looked like he had broken blood vessels or something. What made it even worse was that no one could find the group he was with.

    ----------------

Another time I was driving through the desert in Arizona at night. We had just been to the Grand Canyon and were headed to Las Vegas. It was a cool trip because it was with my girlfriend (now wife), my younger middle brother, his girlfriend, and my youngest brother. What sucked was that because I was only 24 and not 25 I could not rent a van or SUV. So, we had to take two cars... all the way from Houston, to Colorado Springs, to the Grand Canyon, to Las Vegas, to Los Angeles, to San Diego, and back.

Well, like I said I was driving along this deserted highway. I was coming up on a small hill when all of the sudden I see this enormous wolf (it was way too big to be a coyote) standing in the middle of the freeway. We were in my wife's Corrolla and this thing was eye level with me. It scared the living crap out of me. It didn't even move. It just stood there as I flew past it at about 85 mph. At the next stop, I eagerly asked my brothers in the car behind me if they had seen it. They both said that they were asleep and didn't see anything. Brandy, the girl driving also said she didn't see anything.... dangit, I wasn't seeing things!

The strangest thing I have ever heard:

When I was very young (about 6) I woke up in the middle of the night to the distinct sound of heavy breathing. Nothing malicious, just deep rhythmic breathing like the kind a person makes when they are almost snoring. Being a little kid, I was scared out of my mind. I pulled the covers up tight and demanded whoever was making the racket to show themselves. No one did, and the beathing never stopped or changed rhythm. I fell back asleep and never heard the sound again. About six months later my uncle was in town with his kids, who stayed at my moms house with me. We all were in my moms bed and my mom was still awake and was going to sleep in my bed that night. The three of us were being typical kids and horsing around and not sleeping and my oldest cousin decided she would go sleep in my bed because her younger brother and I were making too much noise. She left and returned about 5 minutes later stating that she could not sleep in my room because "someone is breathing too heavily in there." I still live in the same house with my mom and I have never heard the sound again.

The strangest thing to ever happen to me:

When I was 17, I had a dream that my dad died. He came to me and told me he loved me and that he would see me again soon someday. The next morning, I got the phone call: My dad had died in his sleep from heart failure.

Lynus - I have 2 stories like your final one:

I had a dream that my uncle walked up to me, shook my hand, and said that his life had been a pleasure, and had no regrets. I woke up, and found out that he had died in the middle of the night. I had the same dream the week before my dad died.

After my dad died, I had a dream that my mother, sister, two brothers and I were sitting in our living room watching TV. I looked over and saw my dad walking from the bathroom to the kitchen table. This in itself was strange because he had ALS, and hadn't walked in a little over a year before he passed. Anyway, I looked from my dad, standing by the table, over to my mom. I was positively stunned. My sister turned to me and said "Didn't you know? Dad's all better now.", and my mom was in the background nodding.

The strangest thing about these stories is that I rarely remember my dreams. But I guess when they're carrying that kind of a message...
