Steve Francis To Undergo Shoulder Surgery

May 23 - Houston Rockets guard Steve Francis will undergo corrective surgery on his right shoulder on May 30, general manager Carroll Dawson announced today. This arthroscopic surgery will repair the lining on the inside of his shoulder and will prevent Francis from playing basketball for four to six weeks.
Francis has averaged 19.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.54 steals in 214 career games with Houston. The 1999-2000 NBA Co-Rookie of the Year ranks fourth in franchise history in both scoring average and triple-doubles. This past season Francis averaged career highs of 21.6 points and 7.0 rebounds with a team-leading 6.4 assists, standing as the only NBA player to average 20 points, six rebounds and six assists. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound point guard also started for the Western Conference in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game.

Woohoo, only the 17th thread started about this.

Actually, it's 3, but ridiculous nonetheless.
